  1. So this flyer came as a pack-in for a NES game but is advertising upcoming arcade games it seems? I had it loose in my extras pile.
  2. Does anybody know what these 3 games on the bottom are? I can't find any info for them coming out for the NES or arcade. Or if they were early names for something else that came out? Super Dodge Ball was released by CSG Imagesoft, but I'm not sure if this is the same game. From TRA-NES-US pack-in poster.
  3. Thanks! I found the Exerion II prototype but I don't have any advertisements for it so I didn't put it on the list. And the Crazyland one is up there in the PAL section I put a link to the proto too. So the California Raisins story is actually more sad than you think, according to the interview I linked in the proto column the guy who found it and allowed for the rom to be dumped was killed by his roommates in 2004
  4. I haven't seen that one! This one is confusing me though since it has the PAL Jurassic Park box. It seems from his reply in the tweet that he got it from a copy of Total! magazine which is from the UK. But all the Dennis the Menace games in Europe were called "Dennis" instead. But it does look like it's a UK mag so I won't put in the list
  5. Thanks I appreciate it! Take your time I'll add 'em when you 're ready
  6. Let me say, that Konami Binder is amazing! I'm saving those pics for my own database lol. The Hammerin Harry I'm gonna add to the list. The Kung Fu II one is the same as a print advertisement I found in an issue of VG&CE.
  7. Those all sound really good! They're all from pack-in inserts? The Price Is Right and other GameTek I added some pics that came in released game manuals. Are the ones you have from insert posters? If so I'd like them. The Xybots one is from a poster too? I have a magazine ad with a bunch of other games. The Mission Impossible I'd like too. Basically everything you listed sounds great, as long as there's no photo of it listed already. Twin Peaks I saw in one of the magazines but there's no box art or screen shots so I'm not including it. And the Sega one will have to wait for another day when I tackle the Genesis lol. Thanks!!
  8. Yup Lol I guess Nintendo didn't want that one or maybe LJN decided themselves. Here's the flyer, you can see Freddy in the middle of the screen
  9. Wow good eye I didn't even see that! I wish we had an unobstructed view of it, it looks like they intended to license it like they did with the MLB and NFL. I also read that Nightmare on Elm Street flyer advertises the original version of the game where you played Freddy hunting the kids instead of the kids themselves.
  10. Thanks brother!! Your name came up more than a few times researching about unreleased prototypes. Do you still actively hunt/purchase them? And do you still have many in your collection, or were a bunch sold over the years? I'm adding a column in the list for found prototypes. That Madden one, is there any info about it online or screenshots?
  11. @Hybrid That Asterix one I have in the list actually! It's in the bottom where I listed games that were released for PAL. I found a tweet somewhere where the person said they found the advertisement in a comic book.
  12. Yeah the prototype for Escape From Atlantis was released, the graphics don't look great I'm not sure how the game play is lol. And yes please take a look if you have an inserts or ads! And lemme know if it hasn't been listed
  13. Adding that one now too! I found the prototype rom for that one but no advertisement until now
  14. Ahh now I see. So they added a generic terrorist instead. I'll add that one too!
  15. Nice find!! I'm going to add World War III to the list, I found a hi-res scan of that flyer. The Freedom Force seems to be the same box art as the release though, looks like they just added a description for a promo flyer?
  16. Yes please! If you could flatten it out and get a good shot
  17. Does anybody know what pack-in poster this Crash N the Boys: Ice Challenge box art comes from?
  18. It seems to be from a Famicom release. I wanna make a sub-category for Japanese releases that were going to get localized but it's gonna take some time
  19. I checked it out on Wikipedia it claims "Although published in North America directly by Irem itself, technical support inquiries for the game was handled in this region by Broderbund since Irem didn't have an American branch at the time." They seem to have had some relationship with Irem in which they initially thought they would publish it or at least advertise it for Irem? I'm gonna include it in the list. Thanks @DoctorEncore!! You also helped me find another one, The Battlefields of Napoleon when searching for your insert. Which is on BRO-NES-US-1! Some publishers seemed to have close relationships with each other like when Tengen published Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom after Mindscape. And you can also see in an advertisement on the list that Mindscape was intending to publish RoadRunner which Tengen ended up publishing.
  20. And it's possible I overlooked Fun House while looking through magazines because I assumed it was a review of the released version
  21. I was just reading about Fun House and a bunch of other prototypes you brought to light! You got Chuck Yeager dumped too right? I'm debating whether to include prototype boxes and VidPro cards to the list. I included a mock up box for NKOTB that was sold on eBay by the wife of an editor from EGM magazine. They said they apparently used it as a hockey puck at the office that's why it's so beat up lol. And I've found what seem to be legitimate front & backs for War on Wheels, Fun House and SimCity. Edit: I added a bunch of Vidpros scanned by Frank Cifaldi at Lost Levels!
  22. Thanks!! Was the Hellraiser poster you're thinking of this one? I found an image of it and added it, but not a hi-res scan.
  23. Just did it! Good idea. Maybe I'll also add ones that were originally released on the Famicom. But that list would take much longer.
  24. I've only beaten Game A but I remember reading on GameFaqs that the dragon icon keeping track of completions glitches out after a while: When you beat the game the first time, it will display a 1 beside the level, and when you beat it AGAIN, it goes to 2 and so on. But, strange things begin to happen when you really get rocking. Take a look at what's displayed the higher you go in the chart.
