The problem with only editing our original posts is the thread will never get bumped or get new contributors.
Yeah, I think there should be a new post per person each day.

Day 1: (Title Screen) - Ogre Battle - Let's start the month with something epic!
Day 2: (Opening Level) - Alisia Dragoon - Not to copy the OP, but it's one of the best opening levels I've ever heard.
Day 3: (8-bit) - Jackal Stage 3/6 - I'm geared up and ready for action!
Day 4: (Console Exclusive Series) - Green Hill Zone - Sonic the Hedgehog
Day 5: (Overworld) - Final Fantasy IV - This theme is so nostalgic for me.
Day 6: (Relaxing) - Final Fantasy VI - Kids Run Through the City - Whenever I think of a relaxing track, this comes to mind.
Day 7: (Indie) - First I picked a song from Stardew Valley but my edit didn't go through... That's okay, I'll share something else. Bloodstained - Gears of Fortune - Of course Michiru Yamane had a hand in this OST, which is amazing.
Day 8: (Shooter) -
Hmm... this is tough. I don't remember any music from shooters, so I'm going to have to do some homework. There, this one sounds good, if generic. Battlefield V - Triumph.Okay here's a good shmup song: Gradius III - Sand StormDay 9: (Licensed) - Little Nemo: The Dream Master - Nightmare Land - This game has one of the best OSTs ever.
Day 10: (RPG Battle) - Phantasy Star II - Rise or Fall - I really enjoy this soundtrack, and it's one of my favorite RPGs.
Day 11: (Puzzle) - Magical Drop II - Star's Holiday - Feel good song from a puzzle game I used to play a lot in the arcade.
Day 12: (Sad) - Final Fantasy 6 - Celes' Theme - Really hits the feels.
Day 13: (Game I dislike) - Final Fantasy 7 - Main theme - I don't like FF7, but it has some great music in it.
Day 14: (Vocals) - Final Fantasy 9 - Melodies of Life - This is the only real game song with vocals I can think of right now. Never played the game, but I like the OST.
Day 15: (Boss battle) - Final Fantasy 4 - This is a sheer masterpiece.
Day 16: (16-bit) - Shadow Dancer Stages 3-2 & 5-1 - I love this track and the Genesis doesn't get enough love.
Day 17: (Never tire of) - Warsong Phase 1 - This one pops into my head often. Another Genesis goody.
Day 18: (Game over) - Undertale - Determination - This one also enters my head often. I love the main theme.
Day 19: (Cover) - Smoke and Clouds (Locke) - I listen to VG remixes all the time. OC Remix is one of my favorite sites. It's hard to choose just one, but I like this one because it's unique and has changing beats and tempo.
Day 20: (Racing) - Mario Kart - Donut Plains - This one also pops in my head a lot. It has a nostalgic ring to it for me and I love the whistles.
Day 21: (Frustration) - Fist of the North Star Stage 1 - Please, God, stop the insanity!!!
Day 22: (Village) - Phantasy Star II - Happy and bubbly music that sounds a bit out of place when you think about the mood of the events in the game, but I really enjoy this track.
Day 23: (Underrated) - The entire soundtrack of Super Hydlide. Say what you want to about the game, but the music is excellent! Out of Freedom is my favorite.
Day 24: (The "Kylie Minogue" track) - Ys 3 - A Quiet Moment - I don't know why, but I constantly have this song in my head. It's just a simple track, but I enjoy humming it to myself. Has to be the Genesis version as well.

I was wondering what happened to you. I felt this would be your type of game.
I know! I love shooters... this week has just been a bit of a beaver for me.

I looped this years ago... think I got to loop 3, don't really remember. I just can't get myself to play this week. Good luck to everyone at the closing of this contest! C'mon @skinnygrinny

Playing a few games I claimed for free through Amazon Prime and Twitch. There are new games every month, and once you claim them you have them forever. Played a cool point-n-click detective game called Kathy Rain with @MeganJoanne. I really enjoyed the voice acting and the flow of the game, although some of the puzzles stumped us. We are pretty impatient in our old age
Started playing a rhythm game called Old School Musical as well through Amazon gaming. Really enjoying this one, too. Easy mode isn't too awful challenging, but I haven't tried normal and hard yet. Playing with the keyboard, but it might have controller support. I like the homage to the retro games and familiar-sounding yet unique music to play to.

I dislike FF7.
8 minutes ago, Tulpa said:- SMB 3 is too damn long of a game without a battery save or a password system. Whoever thought that was a good idea was on the sauce. I don't give a shit that the warp whistles can move you through it faster, I hate skipping over chunks in games. I want to play through the whole thing, but I don't want my ass to be sore when I'm done. If Kirby's Adventure can have a battery save, so can SMB 3.
Totally this. I played through the entirety of it with a friend years ago, and it took us close to 7 hours to finish it. We had to take a break and leave the NES on while we went out to eat in between. (In AVGN voice) What were they thinking?!

I like women if they kick ass. Nei from Phantasy Star II, Tifa from FF7, Alena from DW4. Especially Alena. She does wonders with earrings!

Really cool! I'm going to enjoy watching my streamers make some cool worlds... once I start watching Twitch again, that is

Diablo III
It's a Diablo alright...
Got back into that about half a year ago. Played it for a year when it came out and then ditched it until last year. I liked the challenges and grinding with new friends. Was a lot of fun. Looking forward to D4, though.

I started playing Brain Lord, too, because Megan was playing it. I remembered renting it back in the day but getting tired of it. Didn't really know why, but when my save got screwed up and I watched her play more, I realized that I would not like it at all later on. Thanks for playing it so I didn't have to!
Just re-downloaded Prison Architect for the umpteenth time on Steam. I love the game, been playing it since it was in Alpha. I've put hundreds of hours in it over the years. Fun and relaxing micro-management.

I’m not a fan of SMB. Only beat it And no-deathed with warps. I’ll give it a shot at some point this week.

If I lose my place I’ll get a FAQ and figure out where I was rather than start over.

That was an interesting week. Now we're headed into the off week. What will you all do? I'm thinking we should have an unofficial game week I suppose I can find something to play!
Updated to a better score on page 2 haha.
I just started playing Brain Lord. I played it back when it came out but didn't like it. Thought I'd give it another shot.

Am I the only one who thinks grinding Level 1 should be outlawed? I understand that some of these contests require point-pressing, but sitting on the first level seems like cheating to me.
