  1. This is from the one time repro release from a certain set of twin brothers on NA.   I think these were limited to 150 but due to some issues not all 150 were sold.

Had lots of fun at game nights with this over the years, but since I don't really do those anymore it's time for someone else to enjoy this.

Has NBA Jam and Judge Dredd.   NBA Jam has special extra point spots that light up to make it more interesting.

Message me if you have any questions.    Thanks!

Oh yeah, see if there's anyone in your area that specializes in cleaning water/flood damaged homes/rooms...isn't there one that claims "it's like it never happened"?

Those places are wicked expensive.   With it only being an inch or two, better off just doing it yourself.

Yea, there is no keeping anything that was touched by this water, unfortunately. There is a possibility that some items may be able to be cleaned, such as a plastic bucket i had with mario on it etc. but obviously cardboard is DOA.

Just throw everything away unless it's something super valuable (and metal) like a Punch Out trashcan.

  4. Ugh.   At least my various basement floods were either rainwater or "clean" water related (first time was a burst water main down the road from us, then various storms), so at least I could keep the discs and dry them off.

Still sucks drying stuff out and then all the stuff you have to throw away.

I’m in a very similar situation. After moving last summer I don’t have a good spot to display the collection so it’s in storage. Since I can’t even look at it, I want to sell it, but I really think it’s a buyers market right now so I haven’t entertained splitting it up and getting serious about selling it.

When it comes to CIB, it's always a seller's market if you're not in a hurry.

I know....sell the collection?  Sacrilege!  Hear me out......

My favorite SNES game is likely Chrono Trigger.  Back when I bought it, I paid around 30 dollars.  It now goes for 150 to 200.  And I don't even play it on my SNES!  The past few times I replayed it, it was the Steam version, just because I liked the idea of cloud saves.  I also played it on my modified SNES classic.  That's just one game out of over a thousand.  And I find this with most games I wanna play, I usually don't prefer to play on original hardware these days because other ways are more convenient.  And I have tons of games just taking up space in storage now.  A part of me wants to sell it all now for a large payday, another part of me wants to wait and see if the prices are more insane 25 years from now when I am approaching my retirement age.  Does any one else have this conundrum or is it just me?

Here's the way I look at it- would I rather have the game, or would I rather spend that 200 dollars on something else?

That's been the tipping point of my entire collection.   The first time prices went batshit I sold off some stuff and picked up other things I'd rather have.

I haven't touched my M.A.S.K. stuff since I moved, but I can't think think of something I'd rather have with the money I'd get from it.   I did sell some Silverhawks stuff last year and got some really cool NASCAR race used stuff for my office.

I went to Amici's for a late lunch of sausage and cheese tortellini and saw one of these on the lane nexr to me:

This is an 8 seat 2023 Toyota Sienna - a behemouth that looks far worse IRL than it does in this picture.  How ugly is it you ask?

It is so ugly that it makes the notorious Pontiac Aztec look graceful!

Even worse, it may only have a 4 cylinder engine!   Last year when we were van shopping, the Sienna had something ridiculous like 36 mpg.   I thought it was a misprint until I looked at the engine size.

Anyway, I went in about 2 years ago and the guys had a CIC Magical Chase.  I can’t recall the price tag but I know it was about what would be expected. ($8-9,000)

Sometimes that may be from the store owner's collection.

The local chain here had a ton of Sega heavy hitters (Master System, CD, etc) come in all at once and it turned out an employee had "traded them in".  I would assume he got a much better cash offer than usual.

A different store in that chain had somebody that must have dumped off an inherited Wii collection.   Tons of random underpriced rarities that I snagged, so I can only imagine what I missed.

Haven't been to any of those stores in a few months, but next time I go I'll see what (horribly overpriced most likely) expensive stuff is behind the counter for you there OP.

I don't know if it came from HoneyCombs or not but I am old enough for Bike license plates.  I still have this smurfs plate that I had on my Bmx at one point until I removed it in order to be able to keep on living.  I had a couple others back in the day as well that were less exciting.  All I remember is that one was yellow and one was white.  Can't remember what was written on them though..

The Honeycomb ones were actual state plates.   You could send away for the set of 50 as well (I did once, and then sold them on ebay probably 10ish years ago).

Then again it was liberal Democrats Joe Lieberman and Tipper Gore who lead the charge of video game censorship...

She's the reason you have those fancy black and white "parental advisory" labels on music.

Warrant scored one of those on their Cherry Pie album solely for their "Ode to Tipper Gore" track.
