it's rarer than a ht mario so what should I ask for it now that so many HT Mario examples have come up? I just want to match 1 of my items to a Heritage price. That's all i'm asking for but no where close. I get ebay price matching offers for the last 20 years

I've been trying to sell zelda 90 and pokemon red 90 for 2 years. From my opinion it looks like the only way to get 10x valuation on your items it to have it sent in for grading with WATA and consigned to Heritage. Collectors dont like VGA --- that's worth a lot less

with historic levels of demand will come a historic wave of new supply ---- I'm excited to see the new games come up

a rising tide lifts all boats. You can clearly see in pokemon that the prices are rising because of cart price increased as well. I can't find any sealed games to buy from; nearly all sealed collectors have put their prices out of reach for even 100 dollar games referencing 3rd party auction sites as the sale price they are looking for. However, the sellers still have all those games. Unable to sell. as a thought experiment hypothetically if you fake demand then new supply will emerge. An entity could only use pinocchio prices on the items they have possession of (tyson, mario 3, oval seal black box) -- if their goal is to acquire actually rare sealed games (hts, bb) then publishing high fake prices on commons will send the 'actually rare market' vertical. Sealed game prices for uber rare were already being asked millions you just never saw the buyer or any potential sellers. Now SG collectors have something to point to it's already backfired on them. Look at the quality of game that current auctions are bringing. Remember when HA had rare NES games 1-2 years ago? now they have pokemon, 20k mario 3, 4th print tyson, and 1 hangtab nes it's a great show! sit back, laugh, and invest in CIB if the sealed price is too high why tf cant people be happy with CIB there is no difference tl:dr their end goal is to acquire rare games (if you're on this forum that's probably true for you as well). but because the average seller wont be able to match the prices they publish they will end up breeding discontent on their own platform

The k-mart sticker on top of Tysons face really bothers me. And they tried to turn it into a positive like it's extra special. it's covering the superstars face.... It's clear the marketing demographic isnt for game collectors or sealed collectors. it's an advert for auction houses, investors who dont believe in pricecharting or gamevaluenow, and brand new grading companies

every auction has a runner up bidder who bid near the winning price but didnt win by now there are hundreds of runner up bidders who declared to pay multiples of the average price or historical price where are they? bc i have the games they need at the prices they bid

what has been happening to my sales for 20 years is an auction will go and then that gives me the ability to charge 0-10% more to match the a recent auction cant find a single buyer to match recent prices. looks like a fake ceiling but i could be wrong . I am just using the wrong grading service and the wrong auction marketplace!

have not graded in a while. If companies spend their money on grading and gaming instead of promotion and propaganda then i'm a customer
