Just to throw my 2cents in on Turok. There shouldn’t be a concern of a game being to short/quick to beat. Look at Golden Nugget, that can take all of 20mins to “beat” If a play through of a game only takes 5mins, well then that’s what it takes. The devs got lazy

People like to go there to see TV's in person... Then buy them on Amazon.
I thought it was common knowledge they mess with the settings in the stores to push whichever model/company they’re getting the best contract with. I didn’t think anyone actually used the display models for serious reference

Same. In fact, I've never paid attention to the Pokémon roster and this might be the first time I've glanced at a full list. I mean, it's impossible to be a gamer and to not know the most famous ones--Charizard, Bulbasaur, Pikachu, etc.
But after looking at the list, I had to go with Seel. In both forms, it's super-cute. Baby seals are probably the cutest animals ever, anyway, so I guess that's my bias and it couldn't have been anything else after I saw it.
Oh you’re definitely not looking at a full list. This is just the list of the first games. Theres over 1000 in the roster

Neat! This is every game that had one?
Yea, only 10. At one time I think there was an old Digital Press post that listed Star Wars Pod Racer too but Ive never seen any evidence of one for that game

No one did Conker yet? That’s a surprise. I can do that before the end of the year, I haven’t played it in a long while I could get down with it again

Ive never seen any of them, probably never will.

This game needed a sequel. I can’t believe with the Pirate fervor that pop culture was in at the time, that it didn’t.
Its a super fun action adventure game with the addition of navel combat. Love it

I think they are still in business - have you contacted them?
The real Madcatz went out of business in 2017, some random holding company just bought out the rights to the names/trademarks after

Like the title says does anyone have a link or physically has the instructions for the Madcatz N64 Steering Wheel? Pictured here. I picked one up recenlty and I'm sure there is a way to customize the button functions and whatnot but I can't find any images of the manual. Any help appreciated!!

My local gamestop is closed more than its open. Half the time I try and go there, there's a sign saying "closed for staff shortages, will open tomorrow".
I don't plan to renew my pro membership, because what's the point?! If I can't get my monthly free $5 plushie, tote bag, or t-shirt anymore because they are closed whenever I go there, why bother going at all? My free time is limited, and they must treat staff like shit if they can't keep any to open the store.
Oh man if you wanna here how they treat them like shit check out the Gamestop subreddit, there are some fun reads there. Also reasons why to never preorder anything from them

That sounds kinda like those programs where you can buy "shares" in collectibles. I think there is one for art called Masterworks
Masterworks! that’s what I was thinking of! I think I confused it with the facebook game wheel things

This would all be solved if everyone would pitch in on a communal Stadium Events. Everyone pays a little in the pot, we all claim ownership, and it sits in someone's house, and everyone has a full retail set.
I mean, no one's going to play it, and even if someone does get the itch to pull out the Power Pad, $5 WCTM scratches that.
There's no real downside to this. I'll even volunteer to keep it at my place, saving everyone space for one more cart. Of course, I'll forgo my contribution to the pot. I mean, it is taking up space in my abode. Plus, I'll have to get more secure locks and such, so that'll be my contribution.
I'll be waiting in the mail for it to arrive. No need to thank me. The knowledge that I'm helping everyone here is thanks enough.

Wasn’t there already some scam where people were doing this a couple of years ago? You buy a piece of the pie and it only got sold if the majority agreed or something. I feel like it was maybe a facebook group was doing it or something and it may have been talked about on Nintendoage right before it shut down

All these remakes from Nintendo themselves; Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario and the Thousand Year Door, Mario vs. Donkey Kong, and Luigi's Mansion 2 basically just points to all of their new game development has moved onto the Switch's successor by now. These "easy effort" games are gonna fill in the gap till it launches with a hopefully awesome batch of new games. I'm gonna buy these remakes (well maybe not Mario vs. Donkey Kong), and so will millions of others.
The highlight of this direct for me was Contra: Operation Galuga. WayForward returns to reimagine the original, sign me up!!
Mario vs Donkey Kong is a remake? I thought it was just another in the series.
I want to be excited for Contra, but that art style is killing me. It looks just like a game demo that came free on my XP PC back in like 2004 bundled with the Wild Tangent client.
I.E. it looks really “cheap”

Exactly, people watch stuff that they plan to buy later but because they can't right now, it sits for months and then I think they forget about it.
Yeah I get different results as well when searching on a phone so there is definitely some kind of algorithm system going on.
Yes, it's very frustrating when multiple people watch an item, you send them an offer, and no one responds. Like, not even a reply about going lower on the price, declining the price, or that they are interested but need more funds. Just straight up no response. How lazy can you get.
Where are some other places you sell your stuff? If you still do.Ive only sold a handful of things that since 2014, and they weren’t games but I did use ebay. Even that was 3-4yrs ago now.
8 hours ago, Mega Tank said:5 hours ago, austin532 said:Yeah, Best Offer seems pointless at times. If you ask for anything more than 10% off of the BIN price, you are probably going to get declined. Meaning the seller does have a bare minimum price in mind but wants to try and get as much money as possible. Best Offer should mean the seller is not sure what they want for it so they are taking offers.
Ebay seems like it's full of scalpers and people selling overpriced games now. It's no longer the best website to buy or sell games. There's alot more competition then there was 20 years ago when I first started selling on there. Amazon, Etsy, Offer Up, Craig's List, Facebook Marketplace, WhatNot, and yes, even sites like DK Oldies.I thought ebay had made then”Best Offer” option default to ON for every listing unless the seller manually turns it off. At least there was a lit of people complaining about that on their forums and sub reddit a year or two ago.
So there may be plenty of people who never intended to have offers and are too dumb/lazy to fix the listing so they just leave it and won’t take any offers not basically at their BIN price

Is it just me or is ebay pretty much dead now? It seems if you want something to sell, you practically have to give it away. Taking lots of pictures, having detailed descriptions, and sending offers doesn't seem to matter anymore. People watch but nobody bites.
I'm wondering if anyone else here is having this experience? If so, I kind of wonder if something was changed. I know ebay runs on an algorithm now, if not, it sure seems like so. When I was a Power Seller it seems I sold more so maybe non Power Sellers get lost in the shuffle somehow?
I also realize that the economy is in a recession and credit card dept is at an all time high so I get it, people don't have money to spend.
Just my thoughts/rant.Well I can only offer a perspective as a buyer, as I stopped selling on there almost a decade ago now. I watch listings all the time and they sit in my watchlist for weeks/months. I do this because I get bored and search for some stuff and sometimes find something I want but can’t get right now. So I “save” it.
You might be wondering why not just search later instead of adding it to a watch list. Well besides the fact it’s easier to just have a list of things I know I was interested in, it also allows me to compare prices and conditions of multiple listings for the same item.
But more importantly ebays search function sucks! I get different results whether Im on my phone or desktop and they absolutely tinker with the results (algorithms like you said). There are things currently available in my watch list that I have not been able to make re-appear in a standard search. It’s ridiculous.
So those items will live in my watchlist until I buy one and remove the remaining from my list, or the listing is sold and I miss my chance.
It may be frustrating to sellers to see items always watched but never sold but Im going to guess Im not the only buyer that does this method

Today's Nintendo Direct announced a new Mario vs. Donkey Kong game. I'm a HUGE fan of this series, so I'm really looking forward to it. I think most of the games in this series are under rated and often overlooked.
The only thing that looked interesting to me was the Tomb Raider games. Ive never played any of them before and the 3 game package seems appealing. The rest was kind of a snooze fest to me.
Also what was up with that trumpet game? Such a weird game to highlight. Seems like any other terrible $0.99 eshop game why give it any spotlight?

Overall I don’t think this will end well.

Yikes, really?? I should add this to the requirement.
I mean winning the championship at Wrestlemania IS how you get credits. So it’s not like it’s a special condition, it’s the only condition to achieve the goal.
That being said, it’s ironic that you could have the perfect streak and win every match and it will actually be detrimental to you as you won’t have the title match at Wrestlemania, but will still have a match on that “pay per view.”
It might be more conducive to just say play the “road to wrestlemania” mode to completion. You’ll still play the whole game through, it’s just your last match may not be the championship match.
Otherwise you’ll have to okay through the whole “year” or “season mode” from the beginning all over again
