  1. i say get it graded. be the first to have a double cased sealed game.
  2. yeah for sure cause it comes down to the numbers and the now. Most people don't care about down the road until that time comes and they will be kicking themselves saying "why didn't they make this playable? the servers don't exist anymore? stupid downloadable content.." i guess we will have to wait and see.
  3. yeah in an economical standpoint for sure if they are using a set size for all their carts and push a required dl since everything is turning digital. It wouldn't be so bad if some games cost a little more if they made a bigger cart kinda like back in the day when some carts were bigger with "more megs of power!" or had a special chip in it like the FX chip for some snes games. They could always use a marketing gimmick and say "Now with 256gigs of power!". It would be worth it if a dl isn't required to play it without any downloads or even have extra room on the cart specifically for extra dl for that game only(That is highly unlikely but would be cool). I think even one day simply just playing a game off of the disc/cart will actually be a selling point marketing wise to buy that game since majority of them it will say "Download required". I mean that sounds weird but for the future generation its gonna be the norm.
  4. Not sure about that just yet. If anything nintendo got it right since the switch pretty much uses a memory stick they can increase the storage according to the size of the game unlike a disc where a dual layer bluray can hold like 50-60gigs max(something like that). I mean nintendo could if they wanted to but not sure if they will. I guess it really comes down to the developers and pressures of a release date to be able to fit a fully playable game on the disc/stick as well. I feel like they aren't using compressed files or something anymore cause it seems overkill with these 150gig games these days like call of duty. Its clear they must be rushing things more than ever to get the game out and not considering a playable game for the future without online required. Its sad how we have to fully rely for online to play these games. Even 360 has no more thumbnail pictures for games in your library unless you are connected online. Kinda shitty.
  5. Soon enough we wont even be getting any physical copies at all for any yard sales or gamestop (at least for disc based games). I noticed alot of these new games especially ps4 and one require online so you have no choice but to download most of the game since the disc only contains a piece of the full game thats not even playable. Now i have to check the cover and the contents for every game to see if i can play it straight from the disc. I always feel ripped off when I realize i can't even play the game straight from the disc and i have to wait for a huge dl to finish before I can play. Its almost like they are doing it on purpose just so you buy digital. Either that or they just rushed the hell out of the game for release which is most likely the case. Either way its disappointing for sure.
  6. Im surprised that kind of data isn't just saved in ur regular hdd files.
  7. Looking to buy nice complete copies of Survival Kids for GBC, Gals Fighters for NGPC and TMNT III Radical Rescue on Gameboy. Box and Manual is fine as well for these if you wanna get rid of them. Let me know if you have these thank you!
  8. Nice setup Archon! This video was recommended on my youtube. Pixelgamesquad has some good quality content. Cool to see you worked with them.
