I don’t mean to be rude with this question as im genuinely just curious. So the N64 test cart last sold “according to pricecharting” last year for $1,299. Why is this one 5k?  Like i said im really just curious as i hope you get what you’re asking for it!  Just curious

thanks again:)!

I was going to say, having just seen some of the insanely stupid prices for N64 stuff like Sculptor's Cut cart only for $1000, $5000 for a N64 test cart seems cheap considering it's like exponentially more rare.

Sometimes sellers make desperation sales. I've done it loads of times

It's no sweat no offense taken. The 1.2k was a heck of a deal for whoever got that as that was pretty good at the time. Supply and demand probably plays a role, what's for sale currently, the urgency of the buyer to have something, these are not traded crazy often and as I said pricecharting isn't the bible of the value of things. It's a nice reference, that's what I use it for.

You could always make an ebay saved search and see if one pops in that you find more in your price range.  The more ways you can detect something is for sale the better. Don't rely on just one site to find what you want. Use legit sites of course but it's kinda like fishing, the more lines you got out in some cases the more likely you may catch what your looking for.

Is that an acceptable answer?
