Current User Live Streams

Here’s an idea:

Can we have a listing of “current live member streams” or something like that?

Maybe have it do it automagically somehow too?

Also, it’s be nice to have it as a “Picture in Picture” mode to prevent multiple tabs and allow us to watch while we browse

I would also like to see something like this, and was planning on suggesting is as well.  TeamLiquid has a sort of feature like this on their website.

I made a quick test; works great. (though needs to be styled, this was just a very quick test)

 

If nothing else, if someone is going to stream for an event or charity or something, we could probably feature/"host" them somewhere on the site.

Multiple monitors?  IDK, just saying, im watching stuff and typing right now......Also, might clutter up mobile, so not something I would wanna see on there.  Maybe just come up with a way for users to show they are streaming.  I guess if this is an optional thing to turn on then ya, make it a thing.

Oh yeah I'd not make it as egregious and in-your-face as my screenshot, I was just showing that I got it working on the site itself no problem. Could be something I put in an optional window or something.

I like the way Backloggery does it - when they are streaming they make a little tab appear that you can click and it takes you to a page w/ the Twitch embed.
