Armageddon Potato | 130
Found a weird lookin' label-less Atari 2600 Donkey Kong cartridge in a huge lot of Atari 2600 games that recently came in. It seems... odd. The tape label on it says, "D·K·" and what appears to be an illegible looking date? What is this?

Maybe I should of mentioned I tested it, haha! Edited November 18, 2023 by Armageddon Potato
the_wizard_666 | 1,334
Do you have a known legit copy to compare it to? Could be a boot, or a proto. Maybe try mentioning it at AtariAGE, there's still a bunch of folks around there. 1
Code Monkey | 2,147
This is interesting, beyond the cartridge, board and game play, how would you even know? Is there a date on any screen? Date on the chip? Did you put that sticker on the chip?
Armageddon Potato | 130
It had that sticker on the chip when I opened it. So far the one response I got on AtariAge is that it might be an Atari employee made in-house copy since all the board dates and everything seem to check out.
