Issue with resident in animal crossings new horizon

I have this non cpu player and I don’t remember making him. None of the switch  profiles access him. he doesn’t have a house and the map shows him as living in residential services. 
 

who the hell is this guy and how do I get rid of him he’s creepy.

I have no idea what it may be unfortunately, but there IS a possibility he's a creepypasta demon. Stay on your toes, and let us know if he causes any dream sequences.

It’s a “resident currently not tied to a user account on this nintendo switch”.

this is what nook told me when I went into data and asked to delete a resident. 
 

then he said “if someone used a user account not tied to a resident registration they could opt to play as “Jenkins”. So if “Jenkins’s registration is deleted, you’ll never be able to do that in the future”.

what does that even mean?
