Which NES games are still fun to play today AND WHY?

I'll start - I recently played this

It's actually more fun than I remember! First off, nice graphics! great sound, simple play-control. The puzzles can be quite the challenge, and even though at the time (1989) this was marketed for kids, basically like all NES games, it most definitely is not for young kids. I would say it really is appropriate for "young adults" since again, the puzzles can be very frustrating for young kids. Having not played this for a long time, I can honestly say this is a game that has aged perfectly. Truly makes you feel like you're back in the golden age of NES games!

Oh yes!  I think I did beat the first time and like a lot of great NES games it came as (at least) a trilogy!  I can't believe Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy of all things each got four games for the NES.  Just goes to show just how truly iconic it was from 1986-94.  I personally feel very lucky to have grown up during the NES and SNES' prime because I know it most definitely would not be anywhere near the same if I had not.
