Q version 16



So I added a few more screens to Q. I think what I want to do is have a password to enter when the player enters a new area. I have about 400 bytes left in the first bank I've been working on. So what I will do is start work on the second bank so I can have the password code in the rest of the area in the first bank.

I wanted to have a tree AND a P on the same screen at the same time. This caused the game to go crazy and I had to work for several hours to try to counteract its craziness. It did stuff that I don't know why it would do especially because I definitely didn't tell it to do what it was doing.

Level 2 will be a snowy background. So I'll have to change the white jar of mayo to a black jar of molasses. And make the background white. Other than that, I am ready to get to work on the second bank, which I should do way better and will be bigger since I have learned a lot since I began programming the game back in 2015 and then forgot about it.

I know the game should have at least 3 levels, probably four, or more if I can figure out how to make a 12k or 16k game. But I'm getting way ahead of myself. I may give up on this game if I run into something I can't figure out later on.
