  1. I'm kinda confused.

What was the point in wiping SegaAge and PlaystationAge if they aren't a focus for GC right now? Correct me if I'm wrong but that seems like a waste of time and pointless on their end. It wasn't like an archive couldn't have been kept for these two sites as well since they haven't been used at all right now as far as I can see. I just despise the whole situation. Though I'm not surprised the for profit has infiltrated and killed the site.

  2. If you're looking for an easy game to pick up and play for 10-20 minute bursts, Pilotwings Resort is surprisingly decent.

I got it with my 3DS near when it first came out, the game is incredibly enjoyable. The mission mode isn't too overly challenging (unless you're going for 100%), and the free flight mode is nice and relaxing as you find all the I Points, Balloons, etc. It's cheap too, you'll definitely get your moneys worth.

  3. Rayman Legends: Definitive Edition and Toki Tori (Digital), both for Switch. Wanted to play Rayman since I've been neglecting it for a good year. Game's fantastic. The music levels in particular are incredible. Toki Tori is good. A bit challenging on hard mode, but that makes it all the more rewarding when I can actually finish areas.

Finished Art of Balance the other day. That is a strong recommendation, nice and relaxing puzzle game. It is a bit pricey for a digital game, but well worth it considering I got 10 hours out of it. Also got around to finishing Sonic Blast as Knuckles too. I know the game is disliked by many people, but if you look at what it was trying to do on an 8-Bit handheld it makes it kind of impressive.

  4. Kinda focusing on series right now, and have been the past year or so.

Funds are a bit tight because uni expenses come first, but I'm really enjoying collecting Sonic, Simpsons, Mario and Crash games. (Original I know). It's really enjoyable to casually buy something in those series I've not got yet to play and most of the time finish.

For some reason golf games are a guilty pleasure, don't ask me why I don't know. I'm going after all the golf games for each system I own, while focusing on PS1 right now. I have 4 left to get, then one needs a manual. After that I'll move onto the PS2 ones and add the occasional one where I see the opportunity. No real rush.

  5. Picked up The Simpsons Game for both the DS and PSP the other day. (Wanted to see how they compare to the PS2 version.) Strongly recommend. The PSP version is much like the console versions, a 3D platformer, however the DS release is 2D. Both play different, so for that I'd say both versions are worth the purchase. I'll probably get stuck into the PSP version first soon.

  6. Just read through this thread, and wow. You guys have incredible collections!

I'm not collecting Switch, instead just getting things one at a time to beat. Not sure how much it is in the States, but over here a game called Muddledash was on sale on the eShop. I'd highly recommend it. Easiest way to describe it is a racing party game, only you play as an octopus trying to get to the goal before the others. Great couch co-op and worth the $2.50 I got it for.

  7. I have successfully made it to the other side.

I used to be Baddieboy Holden on NintendoAge. I got a bit sick of that username, so I wanted to change it. I briefly changed my username to this on NA a few years ago for about a month then decided against it. Now is a good time to use a newer name that I prefer now. Plus I have to be vocal about being probably the only one here from New Zealand!

I haven't been on NintendoAge actively for Age-s, but I will most definitely try (keyword try) to be active on here. The community already seems to have rallied in the most incredible way, which is great to see. I was screen recording going through my old threads, and managed to record the exact moment NA went from being up to the GC redirect error.

I used to love reading the really old NA threads (as in within first year of that site going live) and seeing the people that got it off the ground. Always wished I was able to be one of the first members on a forum, and here we are. -Disregarding the fact that I'm probably one of the last semi-active NA posters to have migrated over.
