  1. It's more of a generational thing. Most if not all the people in this community have grown up with either a NES, SNES, or N64. Kids now want the newer stuff. It will continue that way and when time goes by the long term interest in retro stuff will be in a sharp decline. NES will always have that rich history behind it as the most popular gaming consoles and gaming library ever but like anything people will move onto other things.

Does this extend over to unopened packs of trading cards? What if the customer opens a vintage pack of Pokémon cards doesn’t find anything special and wants to return it?

Yes a buyer can lie and just say not as describe and request a return.  Now a seller can appeal the return stating that the trading pack was opened but that can go either way depending on the sellers return policy. This seller offers no returns so even if a return was forced they would have a good chance of winning an appeal.

Are you sure? I have more than 5k in a few accounts, and still have to pay 4$ a month

Yes I am sure. It says it right on my statement in bold print. My advice to you is to make an appointment to talk to an advisor at the bank and find out about that account plan. You shouldn't be paying a monthly fee. Tell the advisor you have over $5K in multiple accounts and ask why are you being charged a fee? $5k is plenty to get a fee waived.

  4. The system will review your selling performance in the past 90 days on a monthly basis and automatically assign certain amount of selling allowance. Once you meet this restriction, it means that the monthly selling allowance had been used out , you may try to list the branded products 30 days later since the last system notice while maintained a positive selling history.

Check your selling performance level.  What level does it say? That might be the reason why you're restricted.

  5. I've noticed in 2021 an increase of Ebay video game sellers cancelling a transaction either immediately after the auction ends/buy it now within a short time of listing the item or just waiting a week and when I ask for tracking the cancellation comes right away which means they didn't send at all. 36 transactions out of the last 100 is kind of high. This makes me question how many other transactions get cancelled. When you see an item sold that doesn't really mean it actually sold anymore.

  6. For me personally I already have everything I want in my collection so I really believe a lot of other people are in the same situation. Also if the trade requires shipping the item it now costs a lot to ship and in some cases not even worth doing the trade compared to just outright buying it. Locally I hear stories about people wanting to trade low value stuff in exchange for quality video games. So making an even trade is also kind of difficult in some cases. With values going up on sites like Ebay people are paying premium prices for items and I believe it worth more to people just to get the money than to wait around for a trade that would really be for something they would actually want. That also doesn't include the people who just want to get rid of items and don't want to accumulate a bunch of other stuff.
