Anything not on @Estil's immediate radar doesn't exist 😄

Well not everyone has tons of money for their "immediate radar" to go out very far!  I mean what about my other consoles/collections?  Or my baseball card collection (if I ever come into any sort of big money my lifelong dream has always been to be able to do early 70s and then 60s baseball card sets)?  Or my coin collection?  Or most recently my stamp collection?  Yeah yeah go ahead let me have it...

  2. Did you find out how he died?  Not suicide or something I hope... 😞   And here I am feeling cheated because my wife and our first kitty died at least ten years before they should've according to average life expectancy... 😢

Well it would be two games if they ever get around to updating us on Dragon Quest 12...  I mean I know it's on the Switch and I do have a Switch but then I'd be missing the best part 😞

         Just the switch and PS5.

In the day that video was, er, the cat's meow.....

Like this game really needs the PS5's extra horsepower; it would've worked just as good on a PS4.  So what are you saying I should spend all that money on a PS5...just for that one game?  It doesn't seem right...

Correct.  I've never understood the misconception that Americans don't know how to use the metric system.  The vast majority understand it just fine.  It's just a matter of how much they use it in their every day lives.  Most, including myself, would have no issue switching over.

Knowing the metric system and going all-in on the metric system are two very different things.

Completely different but if we lived in the same world as the Simpsons and had a total of 8 fingers and 16 total digits, it would have probably revolutionized how fast we learned mathematics and discovered properties of mathematics.

Base 10 is wonky.  We're just use to it after tens of thousands of years of counting on our fingers and toes.

Better than those 60s math books with all that Base 6 and Base 12 crap in them! 😄

    Speaking of...

I did actually go to Charlie's Angels with some lady friends, and if I was with anyone else I would have walked out.

And I walked out on my playthrough of Final Fantasy X-2.

Ghostbusters '16 is like a hundred times better than either of those 😆

No no no no no no, I mean the show Charlie's Angels.  That "movie" (isn't that the one with those annoying freezes/pauses in the middle of their moves or whatever it's called) and that God awful Dukes of Hazzard movie (that airhead blonde bimbo could never "shoot like Annie Oakley" or "drive like Richard Petty" or reassemble a carburetor in pitch black darkness like the real Daisy can!) are nowhere near worthy of their names.  And speaking of which in that terrible Lone Ranger movie, why did they make his trusty sidekick Tonto look like a freak???

  8. Honestly, I think they tanked Ghostbusters '16 on purpose just so they could claim some moral high ground and have an excuse to claim only sexist toxic masculinity types would have a problem with it.  An all female Ghostbusters team could've totally worked (see Charlie's Angels and Final Fantasy X-2) if they hadn't gone out of their way to get about the ugliest (both outside and in), most unlikeable women possible.

Going further back not only was this 1948 film (probably) fairly low budget but it was rushed to production because they wanted to release it before Babe Ruth died (which he did three weeks after he personally attended the premiere).  It doesn't even mention Babe's first wife and the star of the movie William Bendix who was right handed had to try to bat/throw like the left handed Babe, and by his own admission he wasn't very good at it.

Wonder if they buried him upside down (ten points to whoever gets that.)

So his critics can kiss his ass! 😄 I mean c'mon, he was our biggest rival for the last quarter of the 20th century!  I know he's most infamous for the chair throwing thing but this is my favorite Knight (that's MR Knight or COACH Knight!!!) moment 😄

    Brutal.

That looked like quite a kick.

You'd think they'd be well prepared on the sidelines to stop a player's blood loss....

I don't think they were figuring on that much blood loss.

And let's not also forget a little over 100 years we had (and I hope will continue to be the ONLY) MLB player killed in the line of duty:

Wait what? I thought it was just an accident or freak accident…you’re saying it was intentional? That’s like manslaughter

I sure do hope it was an accident...but I think it'd be far wiser to give it a few days and let the police do their investigation and find out what really happened one way or the other.  I for one don't want to jump to conclusions about the idea that he purposely hit him with a skate...that would be just...too unconscionable to even think about... 😢
