Or...was it?
Broderbund uses their logos in the games they published, but if you look at the boxart concept on that poster it shows Irems logo where Brøderbund’s should be.
My theory: Brøderbund was going to distribute it while Irem published it.
@Braveheart69 claims the poster is also found in Sqoon. I believe him, but Sqoon is one of the items permanently in my saved searches and I never see *any* with the insert. I hate advertising this as well, since it increases the chances of someone just throwing that insert in just to look more complete...but it also may bring them out of the woodwork so it’s a double edged sword.
Dear Phleo...
The Sqoon in my collection is dead mint and has only been opened 2 or 3 times tops as it was part of the B&B Heist famous post from NA days. I still have all the pictures and as a reminder that guy bought the games, unsealed them, stuck them on a shelf, and never played them or did anything with them according to the executor of his estate who sold them to me.- 3

What ever happened to this copy? Did it get entombed? That thing is remarkable.
Nawh, I’d never risk mailing it. It’s on my shelf still.

Thanks for sharing! @Braveheart69
Are you keeping this list a secret or what's going on here? @RpgCollectorHe had to send me DQ blizzards for me to share it with him back in the day so he’s probably just thinking what he should ask you for it?

Yours is the only one I have ever seen!
I missed one on eBay 4-6 years ago. Was so upset as it sold for cheap, seller didn’t know what they had. But it was a BIN so someone got lucky.

I believe most GG collectors are using that list I posted on NA back in the day. I used to run the GG database on SA as well, but alas that’s gone. :( I think that list is still pretty current, maybe off one or two, haven’t seen my old list in awhile.

Sorry for the late reply. I haven't been on this site for a while. I came up with the price because one lot of just the 66 games with the most common purple variant of Huge Insect sold for 10k. It's near impossible to have all 4 variants, Padillon Gais, and the entire set at once and my variant of Thunder Blast Man as well. I only know of 1 other guy who has the same set as me, and he said he'd sell it more than what I'm asking. I have never seen another Padillon Gais pop up on NA or elsewhere. I would like to see pictures of the two you have and of course aren't Famicom carts either because that's not the same as my set. But even still if I think this is the same guy on eBay, you may still have a Padillon Gais (again not Famicom), but not even a full Sachen set and variants. So my pricing is very fair because we all know this isn't even a set people want to go for because it can take over a decade to finish or never finish.
Are you talking about me again? I’ve never discussed selling my set...?

Ugh... and now people will say they have seen one.

Let me see the front of the label so I know it doesn't have CAN in the bottom right hand corner.
Yeah I only remember one supposed 3 screw soccer pic that was dark and turned out to be a Can copy. I’d need to see really good pic to believe it Ferris.

Might just have to get Deniz and Kenneth to fly out here and grade my Matte Sticker. Only opened once sticker still 100% intact (it was stuck to the inner flap with no damage to box or sticker), unpunched hangtab, immaculate in every way box. Best copy I’ve ever seen of all the ones that have passed through my hands.

Yes, I got in very early with Khan on that and got to pick the artwork I liked best. Congrats to you.

99% sure that was my original copy I got from Khan. When I sold it I kept the hand written letter that came with it from Khan. Still have the letter, wouldn’t sell it with the game.

Could be interesting to hear about something I don’t have or don’t even know about.

Wata’ s Black Box guide is Very good. It’s not perfect as I have some that aren’t on there but it’s very good. It’s easily found on WATA’s website.

What are these things going for @ThePhleo even though I sold over 10,000 nes manuals including 6,700 at one time to SosaFan and I sold 20 pounds of NES inserts to a collector in Texas one time... I still have some goodie doubles laying around.

This is the difference in uncommon and rare. Little Samson isn't rare if I can find 10 copies on eBay but some of these games that you just cannot find even with money to buy, those are rare.
Exactly! Some of these GG titles (same could be true for any system) have less than 5 known boxes. No matter how much cash you have good luck...

Ah ok, so not a full set, then that makes sense, I was like wow this guy did it right and knocked out the super toughies first.
-
Wow those 3 aren’t that hard to find. I was waiting for Urban Strike, Super Off Road, CJ Elephant, etc... don’t give up you’ll find them dude. Congrats on being so close. I’ve had multiple multiple copies of those 3 over the years. Here are my 3 Mint new sealed copies for motivation! Stay the course...

I take it mine is the other Padillon Gais you are talking about? Or is there another one?

Most of those are probably mine anyways if you got them from the Nintendoage database before it went bye bye. I bought around 30 or so original artwork hangtab boxes all in unfolded new condition from the owner who lent them to Dain to scan for NA. It was about 15 years ago and they cost me thousands even back then.

THIS 100%! This is all just a game at the end of the day I could see lawsuits fired around on this whole debacle. Ain’t no way anyone can believe in GME or AMC as a long term hold, zero chance. I bought and sold AMC over 2 years ago and made money before COVID, but if anything with video games going digital and everyone owning a big flat screen as they get cheaper and all the new streaming services, GME and AMC have no hope long-term. Get in quick make some money on this joke by all means, but just don’t be the dumbass holding the bag when this all crashes to hell.
