The VGA Loopz (NES) I was watching last night—$269 and one of the highest-grade copies in the world, but honestly crushed enough in the back that I always stayed away from it because I display my games rather than re-sell them—is now gone.

So is the sequel to Wizardry.

While we debate old feuds, all the rare NES games on the market are being bought in the most dramatic shift in this market in a while.

You want mine instead? Nicest copy in the world 😉944BB469-3DF1-4A7F-AD0B-E65302ABBA65.thumb.jpeg.11b689316f92509483b2cb88a159b1b6.jpeg

This order was submitted (via Select) the first week of June, 2020. I received it yesterday. Overall, I'm glad I finally received my games back after waiting so long. I won't be going into the craziness of their turnaround times as we've all talked about that ad nauseam, unfortunately.

    1. Various hairs, dirt, specs of cardboard in the cases & writing on the outside of one case.

    • Hair in cases. I only took the two that stand out the most. (pics 1-2)
    • Writing on case. It looks like an ink pen. I will be able to get it off, so not a huge deal.. (pic 3)

    2. Grading inconsistencies. There are a few games that I really question the accuracy of the grades given. Some games pictured received a lot higher of a grade than I thought they would. If anyone has any thoughts on if you agree/disagree with the grades, that would be awesome!

    • Metal Walker GBC, 8.5 A+. The front left side of the box is dented in. (pics 1-4)
    • Blackthorne GBA, 8.5 A. Multiple dents & creases. Bottom of X Fold box is folding in (pics 5-10)
    • Bomberman Max: Red Challenger, 9.6 A. Multiple corner dents (pics 11-16)

8.5 is usually one big flaw (like a crease that drags all the way on one side) or 3-5 small flaws so these arent that bad i think.

For the 9.6 i agree it seems a little forgiving and looks more like a 9.2 or 9.4 to me.

Firstly, Deniz going on Pawn Stars is not ok, but saying what he thinks a game is worth based on future potentials on HA and “offers” is already an unethical practice, seeing that he is linked with Jim and HA.

When you say “evidence”, what are you hoping to find for it to be definitive? And how are any of us going to give you the evidence you need? I doubt any of us here are full-time detectives.

Thats why we wait for the real investigation

Dude, you're not even willing to publicly consider what all of the factually verifiable evidence could (and likely is) pointing at, so why not make an accurate statement instead of playing at being "fair and balanced?"  An accurate statement based on all of your posts in this thread would be, "I give the benefit of the doubt until a jury has convicted them (and all appeals have been exhausted).

Haha almost but maybe not that much, Deniz going on pawn stars and saying this mario is worth X is perfectly fine with me, if someone takes his word as gospel well…

Please show me evidence and not suppositions/speculation  ?

So you believe he only graded Atari games?

I dont know so i don’t assume/pretend anything…but i give benefit of the doubt unless clear evidence is given, if he didn’t have any preferential treatment or inside info or whatever else then i have no issue with it even if i wasnt into video games at all just my opinion as a normal citizen.

I mean if i started a grading company and couldn’t have my collection authenticated in full transparency/with no preferential treatment with said company i would be really unhappy/sad about it as a collector, i can see the clear conflict possible in the eyes of others of course but these are my honest thoughts.

No, I don't think every bid in the universe is a shill bid. I also don't think every bid in the universe is a legitimate bid. I think there is ALOT more shilling than people want to admit. Whether it is from the actual seller, or a third-party that owns that game and has an interest in making sure it sells for XYZ price. This is not rocket science, nor is this a new thing. How is my theory that people shill a conspiracy theory? It has literally been proven time and time again. Just look at the recent PWCC/eBay scam.

I give a shit about Haspel selling graded Wata games on eBay. It is NOT the price that matters. It is the fact that he is doing it. He may have insider information that noone else knows. It is an AWFUL look and one that reeks of conflict. And yes, I absolutely think Wata would jeapoardize their integrity. What integrity anyway? That all went out the window when they hopped into bed with good ole Jimmy boy.

For the conspiracy part i meant the whole thing not just the shills, dont forget that Trump is in it as well…(not saying you said that at all but need to mention it again as it is the most ridiculous thing ive heard in a long time)

There is no way they would give preferential grading for such low end stuff, this is peanuts, atoms even for their numbers, they would not do that unless they are the stupidest business team ever…

Finally, the words MAY HAVE pretty much say it all…i MAY run for florida governor/senator/whatever in the next election( im Canadian 😉), you can do/say anything using the word MAY

    have a good may
