Hello! I don't normally like to make price check threads but I'm a bit out of my element!

A friend of mine has a buster douglas for master system and I can only see one sold on ebay. Looking for the price on that please 

Also, I think more interesting is the sonic master system game he has that has the u.s. upc. It's a little worn on the barcode but appears genuine. 

Any idea what these go for? I'm not a master system guy and I don't wanna give anyone either false hope or underestimate his games.

Now offering a trade option for switch games

So as with alot of people I recently bought the new pokemon game. Loved sword and shield, let's go, and almost all of them save sun and moon and it's sequels.  

Just got the 6th gym badge and realized this is almost such a faithful copy to diamond I'm not enjoying it as much. (Doesn't help I played through diamond a few months back). I'm not seeing many qol upgrades and keep putting it down and then back up to see if something unique or different happens. 

Is six badges not enough to unlock most of the best part of the game? Let's go and sword and shield I remember having fun the whole time. I don't wanna be a Debbie downer but it seems tedious playing through it. Does it get better? I'd love to be wrong!!

I don't know if anyone remembers my original post about a local store owner here in Nebraska that had alledgly did some bad things. 

I was vague about it because I kind thought the trial got canceled.  As it turns out, it got pushed because of covid. 

Tomorrow is the big day,  the trial starts.  So I figured I'd let people see what I meant. The guy has been nothing but nice to me, but has loads of controversy. If this goes the way it seems to be going we will either be getting a new owner for the stores or closing down altogether.  

There is always more to tell, but I'll save that for after trial.

Back from the dead

Thanks everyone, we sat down and discussed it . She basically wanted the dog to hopefully be less sad about the situation. 

The fiance and i had a dog , we have her sister too. So..

Someone let's just say careless (absolutely not me) took and dog got hit by a speeding car. 

It was almost like losing a friend. The injuries were gruesome and I'm still in shock.  After finding her.. well this isn't  a gore post 

It's been pretty sad since she has been gone and the fiance wants another dog. 

Don't know if I'm ready for that.

Anyone ever had thus happen to you? Has been an incredibly sad few weeks.

No.. It's mostly the silence. If I wanted to I could play switch all day, pinball the next day, and rearrange my stuff 20 different ways and probably not get a call. I'm not even that big of a fan of the switch but I hsve like 15 games now when before I had one. Just to pass the time and stay alert.

Apparently.  Even though id like to believe I'm not.

Another problem is that calls come in like every 20-30 minutes. I legit at least once a week spend my time doing nothing. That may sound cool but it's very overrated. The position I'm in is designed in such a way that if someone of importance calls in they would never have to wait. They call it "white glove service". So it's not hard to guess what kind of people I deal with everyday, and it's tiresome. Much less tiresome back when we were at the center because like 6 other guys and I would just play our switches. It was a blast let me tell you. Not so much when you play by yourself. I'd take a 50% paycut just so the place I work for isn't like what I'm doing now. 

I spent yesterday on indeed and got a bunch of hits, I have decent experience so I'm sure I can find something. Especially something that isn't in my collection room. Really hoping to have a job that will have me office bound. But I'm  going to actually try to find a different job rather then do nothing. I live in a market where there are probably more jobs then people to fill them. 

Yeah.. I see everyone's points.  It's just so much harder without work friends.

Title kind of explains it, I'm sure some members have been sent home instead of an office setting and I kinda wanted to know people's takes on it.

It's been over a year for me and it's been.. miserable? Have an extra room in my apt where I keep my collection stuff,  pinball machine, etc, and I rarely go in there unless I'm working now. All of my former office friends got canned (performance apparently) and it gets pretty lonely all by yourself for 9 hours a day. 

Anyone else having this problem? Is this common or do people actually enjoy working from home? I'm looking for a new job and thats a bummer
