While I agree with you about the original intent of Kickstarter, I think you're turning a pretty significant blind eye to what Kickstarter has become. Not only that, but Kickstarter has at the very least ignored this, has allowed projects like this to flourish, and has even promoted and encouraged them. If you want to boycot/shit on anyone - shit on them. Or maybe shit on the big companies that do this same thing or worse (take millions of dollars, then take forever to release a garbage game).

Even if a indie project is done/mostly done, it allows for indie developers to get additional funding for supplies, and gets their project out to a much much larger audience (and in theory brings more attention to the homebrew scene), which we should be thrilled with in the end.

I'd argue that if the only projects on Kickstarter were ones that actually 100% -needed- Kickstarter, there would be much fewer, and many would be much less interesting.

Interested! When do the guardian girls ship?

Tomorrow AM. Haven't been able to get to the post office this week, but I will get them there first thing tomorrow.

Got a copy last night.  I wasn't even aware there was a VGS homebrew store like that and I guess there was an earlier release by neodelphino that I missed 😞

There's a chance I may do another small Haradius run in the future, if there is enough interest. 🙂

  4. I'd recommend a nice whiskey (or whisky if you prefer scotch... which most cigar smokers do, by association of the smokiness/peat flavor).  I find that beer or wine does not go very well with cigars, as the flavor of the cigar dulls most of the pleasant flavors associated with them.

Also, when lighting - use either a spill, a match -AFTER- the head has fully burned off, or a torch lighter (though try to be very quick/use sparingly).

While im not sure if you are an admin or not (not sure how to tell) i do appreciate the heads up. I reread the policies and sure enough i am going against them:(!  I’ll consolidate but i may need help deleting some threads

by policy you are only allowed one selling and one buying thread. Now I didn’t see anything about FO or OBO but i might have missed that. I do see that if im truly selling (FS) i need to put a price.

    ill be correcting these

No worries - thanks for being so receptive 😄

I am on the Homebrew team so not a mod per-sey, but I have access to mod stuff and keep an eye out for stuff like this 🙂

Is VGA qualified another way of saying factory sealed?

No.  VGS Qualified (or Q) scale is for games that are opened, but in new/like condition. The contents are examined and supposedly confirmed to be what was in the release/complete.

The regular VGS scale is for sealed games.  You can tell the difference right away by looking at the color on the grade sticker - regular sealed scale is pink/red - qualified is blue.

  7. Hi there!

If you post an item as "FS" you need to have a price listed (though you can make it OBO).

If you don't want to put a price, you should say "FO" (For offer) instead.

Also, you shouldn't have more than one active sale thread at at time - you have at least 3.  Please consolidate them!

    Thank you!

Hey guys I own a few VGA graded games that I've picked up over the years but I've never sent in my own submission until now. At the beginning of the submission they ask which case style I'd prefer, classic or clear view. I just want the same standard case style as 99.9% VGA graded games I see, which based on the description sounds like clear view? If someone could clarify that for me I'd appreciate it.

I tried to look up what I did on my previous orders, but couldn't see what I selected. From the descriptions, however, the clear view is what you are looking for.

The classic view I think is what was used more for their other colectable grading services traditionally.
