You'd think VGA will be a bit better and it may be, but i saw somebody trying to sell a coveted VGA 40 ocarina of time for 8 grand so, the outlook is appearing grim. hahaha.

Very true, for well under a grand/half a grand i've gotten a couple self coveted sealed games recently so the deals still exist if you search frequently enough.

gotta say we've seen some doozies, but 455 dollars + shipping + taxes for an average cib copy of SONIC THE FREAKIN HEDGEHOG!!!!!! might be the dumbest thing i've seen yet. that being said i have a similar copy ill be taking offers starting at 1000 dollars, it is of the "salvation army" pedigree.

speedrun tier got my grade back today, which is what i expected really. 3/5 received, 4/2 graded. 20 business days total, 15 day estimate they were within a week so overall cant complain, of course itll probably take another week and a half to physically get to me but thats all fine. side note, stoked with the grade. got much higher than i had anticipated haha, but i'm certainly not an expert on that.

you know thats very true. I actually picked up a highly graded game and have looked at similar in the same grade range between 1.5 grades, all with the same date/ID and the number pattern such as 003..006..007 just as examples of ones i could find that match. It was noted it came from a factory box on the back, though.

the council of evil and their mario of manipulation is very shady, but the population report thing definitely bugs me. i know you want an "in depth" grading report before sending it out but i'd like to know if theres 200 9.8 pokemons out there please. you can manipulate the market using rick harrison, whatever, but compounding the fact you have friends that are actively banking out on this very speculative market with also keeping important info out of the publics hands is kind of ridiculous. that *uber super rare SEALED* game people are shelling out a home for could end up being one of a million. Not that it becomes any less collectible to me but you get it.

contacted wata for an update as today was the 15th business day just to get a rough estimate of where i'm at. was told it was in the line for the final grader and should be finished up early next week. thats customer service for maybe by next friday i'd assume, but it seems the 15 business day speedrun is hovering around 16-20, overall not as bad as some other points in time for them. maybe not a terrible time for a submission

sent in a game to be graded "speedrun" tier on 3/2 and they recieved it 3/5, was put into grading on the 8th i believe. Going off the estimated time i should get some sort of update by friday but we'll see what happens. Figured if any time of the year would be a more dead period it would be now. Though with all the hype i fear no time is the best time haha. will update when i hear anything just to keep experiences current and give people an idea of what its looking like.
