Quick question. Have you looked into DHL or FedEx? I know that DHL is in your area, and can say it is worth trying. With reasons being that I use them all the time when I order stuff from Japan. With FedEx being my alternative when they are not an option (ex. Play-Asia).

As for flying, I had no issues when it came to my carry-on stuff. But I also have not flown anywhere in the past 4 years.

The games i ordered from Brazil where shipped with DHL. Last year i sent a game to miami via DHL and the buyer says it was opened . When i ship something more expensive i use UPS and now they opened my game...I think its not the shipping company the problem is the country from where i am shipping. As another member said before goverment has a policy to open randomly open packages coming from south of the border to search for ilegal substances.

Hmm do you have the option to return to the source? Explain to the seller what wata told you and what you might think happened. If the seller was smart, he/she would insure the package. That way all is not lost.

No its lost ... it wasn`t very expensive ($400) but i also lost a great opportunity to resell it .

OUch!!!! Anything is possible. Maybe someone in custom border familiar with video games swapped it out with an open one? Did you buy the game from ebay and used wata as the delivery address?

No... i purchased the game here at Mexico (players choice) . I used UPS but my package was stuck 5 days in a warehouse at US . I think that's where they probably opened it.

  4. Just got news for my warpzone order

    Hi Mijael,

Hope you are well. The game on order #: N64 Goldeneye, was submitted as a sealed game but is actually CIB (Complete in Box).

We can either open the game and grade it as CIB with the necessary upcharges for CIB grading or return the game to you as-is. Please let us know which you would like to do.

Grade CIB - If you'd like the game graded CIB, please send payment to our PayPal account at submissions@watagames.com. Please add a note with the order number and CIB upcharge. The upcharge for CIB grading is $85 per game. If you choose to upgrade to CIB please reply to this message with a copy of the receipt of payment to PayPal.

Return As-Is -  If you would like the game(s) back, you will be refunded the total you paid per each, less a $15/each evaluation fee and return shipping.

Please let us know how you would like to proceed.

    Thank you,

    The Wata Team

I guess my game was opened in customs .... 😡

  5. I won a game from their first video game auction i think it was 2 years ago.. Very good deal but they tried to charge me $200 usd to ship me that game to Mexico. At the end they charged me $150 . They also take to much time to ship the items after you pay. It can take 2 weeks or more.

  6. Going forward, starting today (Feb. 1, 2022), please ensure all packages sent to WATA use this address. Packages that are sent to the old WATA address in Denver will still be accepted but may have delays in processing and receiving. Thank you for making note of the change.

😔  i sent them a package last week to Denver , they will receive it tomorrow but now with delay..

That shit attitude? That's rich, coming from the guy begging me to send his game non flat rate box back in 2014 or whatever, just so you could save $0.50, when I specifically stated in my sale thread everything was going out flat rate, and under market price, as I didn't have time to fart around with things since I was only home for a week.

You want to talk about shit attitudes, that was definitely one of them.

Most likely.  And don't forget, if you didn't pay for the highest tier of service, there's every likelihood that people who paid more but submitted stuff much, much, much later can and will receive their stuff long before you do.  Yay transparency!

Agree and probably the people who pay more get better grades from time to time

  9. Btw someone told me yesterday that after 11 months he just received his PS2 games from Wata.  Wata customer service replied me last week that they "still dont get the DVD parts" and they don´t have a an estimated time. I believe they already have the DVD parts but they don´t have enough parts to fulfill all the orders...

  10. Ok guys 2022 update !

    Hi Mijael,

Thank you for contacting Wata Games.  I apologize for the confusion, we recently have implemented changes in the order processing that allow us to show grades before the order ships.  We’ve refined our quality assurance process to enable us to do this, so this is great news for collectors. Rest assured the data is accurate, although some grades may still be subject to change prior to shipping out. The grades that may change represent a very small percentage of all orders, so feel confident that what you will see in grade viewing will be likely be your final grade.  Unfortunately, we have run into shortages and delays for cases that accommodate your games. Once they are in, we will be shipping all held orders as quickly as we can. At this point, we do not have an ETA for the cases, but we are coordinating daily with our suppliers to get them delivered as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your continued patience. You will receive an email with tracking info when the package ships.  Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Take care,

    The Wata Team

So still no DVD cases and they dont have ETA for them ...
