No it was Stadlbauer, they were the distributor for Austria and Switzerland until like 2014 for Nintendo, they also held distribution rights to all of central/eastern europe. In terms of NES, products would be coded -FRG. Not sure if this region code exists for GB though.
I'm surprised that GiG ones are not 'real' boxes, since everything else GiG has GiG printed on the boxes, nes, snes, etc.

probably have the hungarian manual somewhere too.
these 2 gameboys were sold in Poland. The DMG probably was parallel import. The GB Color is by the Nintendo distributor, not sure of any differences between the boxes and other Austrian releases, but that manual was inserted by Nintendo's distributor for CZ/HU/PL.
Also that GB from Russia came with this manual too

there are hungarian and czech models too, probably other east european ones too, but i don't have pics of them. i have a pic of the manual for the gameboy from CZ somewhere though

well there was a lot of sharing between disributors around 1996 onwards so that's not surprising. not so much for nes/snes though.
GiG stickers over mattel logos are super common of course for everything.
