Happy you enjoyed the Yoshi plush @SNESNESCUBE64 who knew I was giving a present to Secret Santa himself!! Merry Christmas!

I am still not sure who my secret santa is, but they sent me two awesome GameCube games I needed for my collection! Whoever you are - thank you very much!! 😁

Very cool and some fun games. The big question is did Yu-Gi-Oh come with the cards? I have never seen them in a copy.

Damn, I was stalking your profile waiting for a new post, haha. Oh well, SNESNES definitely deserves it for being the one to take control of the account this year! I actually hope to be the one in control of the Secret Santa account myself one of these years, I'd love to be the one to organize all of this, as much of a pain as I'm sure it is, haha.

As someone who ran Racketboy’s Secret Santa in July for a few years I can tell you it does take some work. That one wasn’t nearly as large as this one was but despite some issues it’s a lot of fun. Hopefully you’ll get a chance to do that.

  3. Looks like the gift I shipped has made it which I’m happy about but it appears my gift from Secret Santa will arrive sometime after Christmas.

Edit: it has arrived so I’ll have something to open tomorrow.

  4. I’ll be spending Christmas Eve, my birthday, with my kids. Open some presents and play some games while making food. Watch our church’s online Christmas Eve celebration and avoid going out into the frigid cold coming. On Christmas they’ll go to their moms and I’ll become Uncle Scrooge and threaten to shove a candy cane up people’s noses if they bother me while I check out the Secret Santa thread. All in good fun of course.

I don't foresee a problem with this. HOWEVER, the problem with this is that if I am not mistaken, you are able to see whoever viewed the document. That said, it could compromise the fun of it being a mystery.

With that said, consider this a reminder for everyone considering participating that the deadline is approaching fast.  I WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING LATE ENTRIES. Santa is a very busy person this year, and I intend on beginning the pairings right after the time to sign up ends. With that in mind, just saying "I'm in" is not good enough, you MUST message me your list and shipping info before the deadline (11/19 10:00PM EST), otherwise you will not be able to participate. If you have any concerns please message me, I am checking my inbox several times a day.

I'm sorry to be a bit more strict this year, with a certain pandemic still being a major problem, I want to give people as much time as possible.

Should we expect a confirmation email or if we’ve sent info we’re good?

  6. That is awesome! My favorite system and I sold off most of my collection a couple years ago. I’m working on getting it back but even at that I don’t think I would have ever found a complete set. Are you going after controller variants as well? Or just enough to play? What are your favorite games?

Go to watagames.com, create an account, then go to submit a game. It will ask you some questions about the game being submitted, and you'll have to pick the type of casing you want your game displayed in. There will be a form you print out at the end with all of that info. Then you'll put that print out in the shipping box with your game and send her off to the address on the site. Then wait roughly a decade (depending on which grading speed you picked) and you'll have a graded game waiting at your doorstep.

Thank you! A decade sounds like a long time. Lol Sounds like they’re having issues with their turnaround.

  8. I have a brand new DK for the 2600. It’s still inside the Target hang case though that is torn, doesn’t affect the box. Would the game be a candidate for grading and if so is it a good idea? I also have a couple of new in wrap DS games, the best being Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. I know about comic grading and card grading but not game grading. Thanks.

  9. Sweet GC collection. I don’t think I have a picture of it but I got rid of my GameCube games a few years ago to fund a purchase of a Disney Vacation Club membership. Well worth it. At the time they were worth about $2,800. I kept a Google spreadsheet of everything. I repriced it very recently and it’s valued at about $5,600. It’s doubled in about 3 years and that doesn’t count the systems, component cables, and controllers. Most of which I thankfully kept.

Mine wasn’t quite as nice as yours but I had 121 games including some interactive demo discs. Fire Emblem, Go Go Hypergrind, Gotcha Force, etc... I sold it to a guy in Canada on NintendoAge. I miss some of it and kept a lot of the hardware. I’ve recently started to recollect as many of the games as I can.

  10. I don’t know where to put this and I’ve tried using the contact feature twice to no success. I’m unable to see the for sale activity on this site if I’m logged in. If I log out it’s there but I can’t pm or interact with people that way. I can’t access my for offer or for trade thread and it’s made for a frustrating experience. Does anyone else have this issue or have any ideas with what’s going on or how I can get this fixed? Thank you.
