    Yes it’s the separate preview disc just included as a full pack. Up until now I could never even find a picture of this set. Wasn’t even sure it actually existed.

    Happy to finally have the Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles blister pack and the Star Wars: Rebel Strike - Rogue Squadron III variant with demo disc included.

    Is there a definitive list of GameCube Blister Pack releases for games? I’m aware of these: Mario Party 4 w/ Wavebird Metroid Prime w/ Wavebird Final Fantasy w/ Link Cable DBZ: Budokai w/ Guide (although I believe this was unofficial because the guide says Xbox and PS2 on the cover, and I’m not seeing Nintendo sanctioning that) Thanks everyone.

    I'm not sure about rarest, but this 2-pack version is certainly one of the hardest releases to find. But at least it's documented now.

    For years, I’ve wondered if this even exists. To my knowledge, there haven’t even been photos of this until now. I only ever saw a picture of the sticker, cut from the seal. This is the Star Wars: Rebel Strike - Rogue Squadron III Demo Disc Included variant. Usually, this demo disc featuring Atari games was packaged separately, but we finally have absolute confirmation that some copies included it. This is sealed, but the seal is in rough shape. Still an awesome find, highly sought after in the GameCube community.

    Yeah I figured out who won. He privately told me he put a massive sum on this game that no one would’ve outbid. Don’t want to throw him under the bus. But essentially, there’s a GameCube collector out there with a lot of money. This wasn’t shilling, it was just a lot of outrageous bidding.

    So, I’m very experienced when it comes to game collecting. I have a full N64 set and GameCube set. Including variants. There are only a handful of variants left I need for GameCube. When it comes to these eBay sales, I believe there is a GameCube collector attempting to corner the market. I’ve also seen evidence of this in Facebook groups. Games being sold for outlandish prices that no one wants to pay. As a collector, I’m used to paying absorbent fees for an uncommon game, but we’re talking major price increases with the only justification being that there aren’t that many copies on eBay. I believe there’s a collector out there that’s causing a lot of these issues. I’m not ready to make assumptions or point fingers. But I’ll say again, the seller refunding me $300 when he wasn’t asked, and was under no obligation to, speaks worlds of his character. If he was out to make unfair money, he wouldn’t have done that.

    Thank you! I do believe there is some truth to the theories about the inflation of these prices, but I’m not sure the seller is responsible. He’s been very fair about the items I’ve won.

    I’ve spoken privately with the seller. On two occasions, something I bid on skyrocketed in the final moments. I won a Hot Wheels game with an unused scratch ticket that went from $27 to $350 in the final seconds. I still won the game. Even so, the seller refunded me $300 and sold it to me for only $50. He said he didn’t feel right asking for that much. The dude is completely legit and very fair. He was within his rights to ask for $350 and sold it for only $50. I think a lot of the rumors about him in this thread are unfounded. That being said, I do believe there is at least one bidder who is purposely bidding obscenely high on some items. I tried to win the Mega Man game with bobble head pin the other day and watched it go from around $40 to $400 in the final ten seconds. I don’t believe this is the seller. I think there’s a GameCube collector out there trying to corner the market by inflating prices. That’s just a theory though, based on watching many sales over the past few months.

    I’ll be trying to win this auction because I have a near complete variant set, but I too am confused why so many bidders hike the price up with multiple days left. Seems pointless.
