Kid Dracula

I played an hour of Treasure Master tonight and didn't pass the first level. I can see why it is a 14 pointer, it is quite frustrating!

Finished off Super Spy Hunter.

Keep up the pace guys! I had to take a break for a week or so as I hadn't played that many games in that short of time in many years. I don't know how Nerdy does it month after month let alone year after year!

Played through Gremlins yesterday. Didn't realize it hadn't been completed!

Played through Alpha Mission. This one was a bit rough but will give it a pass for an early nes effort. I prefer the Japanese title Armoured Scrum Object. No ending screen just loops after 12 areas. 

First time playing through Thunderbirds and it’s not bad! Must be the least talked about licensed game. I didn’t realize it was a straight up plane shooter.

Silkworm completed. 1 credit clear, died 3 times. Ended up using the Jeep which makes the final level and final boss easier. I’ll probably play it a bit more to beat it with the Heli. 

I tried Silkworm last night for the first time and made it to the last level on my second try! I was wondering what the fuss was all about but level 8 kicked my ass. I've tried a few more times and can't make it through that level. Does anybody recommend the Jeep over the Heli? The learning curve seems a bit steeper with the Jeep, I only tried it once and did much worse.

Finished off Thundercade and my hands hurt.

That's just it, once you die you'll often lose a few lives. Fortunately the game is very generous with 1 ups! I used weapon 7 and powered it up to max at which point it decimates the bosses.  Fortunately only lost it a few times throughout the run. Weapon 0 powered up is also effective. What ships that drop weapons on you? There's definitely a lot going on and the nes handles it with no slowdown!

I wasn’t content just to finish Zanac yesterday (with continues)so I gave it another go- 1 credit clear with 42 lives in reserve! “You are the messiah of the earth” is the congratulatory message! 

I’ve heard some people say it’s the hardest shooter on the nes which is definitely not the case. It is definitely one of the best though!

Thought I would grind out Silver Surfer as I’ve never completed that one. After realizing there was only 3 continues I pushed that to the side. That’ll be a hard earned 4 points for someone.

Played through Zanac instead and success!

Finally! Finished off Star Force!! After 26 gruelling stages the game can’t be bothered with an ending screen. I luckily snapped this photo of the last level thinking I had already won.

Karnov completed. I had the tiger electronics game as a kid but never played this.

Just finished off Goonies II! I don’t know how any kid would beat this, it’s much too cryptic. 

Gonna try to add photos now! So much easier than I remember years ago on Nintendo age. 

As for air fortress I honestly think I got lucky. Only got stuck on 6A, 8A, and 5B for any length of time. I estimated 5-6 hours  but I was playing on and off throughout the day/night so wouldn’t surprise me if it was 7-8.

Finished off The Flying Dragon Secret Scroll! Had this one as a kid but never played it much because I couldn’t figure out how to progress. It has its moments...culture brain put out some weird ones! 

Finished a doozie- Air Fortress is done for the year! First time playing it and it took 5-6 hours. 

Gun.Smoke is finished. 

Played a couple hours of Star Force but only made it to level 14 of 26. 

Adventures in the Magic Kingdom was a favorite I used to rent back in the day. Not sure why now, it's just OK. Done.

Haha no doubt. Nice! I was playing Burgertime for 20 minutes or so the other day before giving up from sucking so bad!

Just played through Day Dreamin Davey. Be glad you didn't spend 3 hours of your night slogging through this game! Was my first time playing it...and my last.
