  1. BUMP! Does anyone have the Shining Force Game Players Battle Guide? I'm SUPER interested in it. Also still interested in the Great Greed box only for Game Boy. I have lots of lower end stuff to trade, some documented in the post above. Would also consider higher end stuff.
  2. Another sad bump... Fuel my addiction, somebody!
  3. Bump. Great Greed Game Boy box... anyone? :(
  4. Bump! Acquired the manual. Now I just need the box.
  5. It's a new day in my EST time zone! I acquired the cartridge and I'm in the process of getting the manual. So I just need the BOX for Great Greed on the Game Boy. I have money, but would love to trade or knock off some money in a trade. DM me to work something out. Thanks!
  6. 2013 Silver Hyundai Accent. I bought it back in 2015. All I care about for my vehicles is reliability & good gas mileage, which this provides. Finally paid it off a year and a half ago. Only thing I'm a wee bit worried about is some rust, but otherwise haven't had a single issue with this thing *knocks on wood*
  7. Again, not trying to flood this thread with updates unless it's non-playthrough stuff. Cause I pretty much upload Bits Plays/Lets Plays daily. Maybe if it's a good challenge run I'll post it.. anyways... Did my next pickups video, enjoy!
  8. New video! Not going to update this for every video since I upload almost daily... My NES/Famicom Collection as of July 2021
  9. I think the best way to sum up FF2 is that it was overly ambitious. Tons of decent ideas, but not much was implemented particularly well. Thank goodness they returned to form starting on FFIII and onward (Well, that's open for debate I guess, but I enjoy the series up until FFX haha).
  10. Thank you! And thanks to everyone else as well. I'm happy to see this place bumping. Nintendo Age was a HUGE part of my retro collecting revival when I was in college. It was a super sad time when it went under.
  11. Hey guys! I've been plugging away on YouTube on/off for many years. Only recently have I decided to put in more effort. I got super burnt out on Twitch and preferred the more laid back style of YouTube. If you like anything in the world of Retro Gaming, feel free to check out my channel! My favorite thing to do is short and to the point reviews. Have always been a fan of trying to keep them under 5 minutes if possible. Here's an example of a review I did recently-ish: Beyond that, I also do lots of Let's Plays, Challenge Runs, Pick Up Videos, Unboxings, Podcasts, Collection videos and so forth. Anything and anything retro! Occasionally some modern sprinkled in. I'll list my main channel URL below. Feel free to check it out. If you enjoy any of the content, consider subbing! I'm trying super hard as it's a huge passion of mine. So I'd appreciate any and all support if you get any enjoyment. Thanks everyone! URL: https://www.youtube.com/bitsandglory
  12. FF2's inventory management stinks. It's extremely limited on Famicom/NES, but I can't comment on the remakes. Towards the end of the game I basically had no consumables. Potions were almost never carried. Just kept important things to cure petrification and such since FF2 LOOOOOVES just demolishing your party with bad status afflictions. I haven't played the DS version much, but I am enjoying the Famicom/NES version of FF3. It's much better than FF2.
  13. Yup, all the 8-bit versions. I bought CIB reproduction copies from Flashback Games for II & III. I do own some of the remakes but I wanted to play through the originals. To be honest... I think I is my favorite. I'm about maybe 1/4 through III, and I'm enjoying it a lot more than II. II simply put is a bit tedious & overly ambitious for the times. Didn't work out too well, but it's worthy of at least one playthrough. III is a lot of fun but something feels too stream-liney for my liking. That being said, big step up from II. Not sure if it's the general simplicity of the first, but I think that'll end up being my favorite still when all is said and done. I just really enjoy picking the starting classes and going on that adventure against the elemental fiends and time loop!
  14. Hey Guys, I've been doing video game reviews for quite some time, even those that pre-date this channel (had a small defunct channel from the early 2010's). My goal has always been: Short & to the point. Not that I don't like longer reviews, but it's just the style I've been aiming for forever. Figured I'd share my current review playlist here and I'll update with new reviews as I go along. Too many to list in a post. I also do a bunch of other stuff: Let's Plays, Pickups, Collection, Podcasts, Unboxings, etc. in the world of retro gaming. Enjoy!
  15. Been ripping through the NES/Famicom Final Fantasy's for the last two months. Final Fantasy & Final Fantasy II are down, currently going through Final Fantasy III. Been enjoying it a lot so far! A bit streamlined (at least up until the point I'm at), but fun.
  16. Just doing my daily bump. I realize this is gonna be a tough one to come by, but worth a shot! Haha
  17. Updated to just SkyBlazer on the SNES! If someone has the box for sale, in decent shape for a decent price... let me know!
  18. Here's a link to my Instagram of my game room after I cleaned it a few weeks ago: https://www.instagram.com/p/CRu2QujLHPx/ I'll attach a sample graphic, but you can see the rest in the post. I also post basically non stop retro gaming stuff there, so feel free to follow if that's your thing!
  19. Hey guys! I just realized I had signed up on here a while ago and completely forgot about it. I joined Nintendo Age back in the college years (so probably 2006?). My username there was likely The Bear and/or BitsAndGlory. Either way, glad to see this is bumping now. Can't wait for some good buying & selling!
