  3. Ladies, gentlemen and all sort of fine folks, welcome to another week of our beloved contest! This week we will be hitting the gas and pumping up the adrenaline for it is a week of SPEED! Our talented players will show their mad speed skills on R.C. Pro-Am!!! The rules are as follow: Play until reach level 11 or till you finish 4th, whichever comes first. Pause your game at the start of level 11 or when you finish 4th and take your picture Highest level wins, with highest score used as tie breaker GENRE: Sports Get on your remote control and show that you know how to make that toy car fly! The contest ends Sunday, 04/07/24 at 11 PM VGS time. Your user name MUST be written or typed on a piece of paper and be in the picture for your score to be valid. The entire TV screen, or computer monitor if you are playing on an emulator, MUST be in the picture for the score to be valid. No partial screenshots will be considered or accepted. No screenshots by hitting "print screen" on a computer will be allowed. You must take a picture of your computer monitor. There may be instances where this will be acceptable, but it will be at the discretion of myself and the contest organizers. Also, the use of turbo controllers is forbidden, as well as any cheat codes, Game Genies, slow motion functions, or save states if playing on an emulator. Also, we will only be using NTSC systems for the contests. The use of PAL systems will NOT be allowed. Good luck everyone and have fun.
  4. Well, turns out those were the final standings!
  5. I think that having to take 4 pictures actually drove people away from this, but SMB3 will be back and we will run these rules again. They seem to have worked pretty great.
  6. The 3DS virtual console is perfectly fine for this.
  7. I don't think so. I will try to review them tomorrow and post the final standings.
  8. We need to keep things fresh, so new ways to play classic games need to be found for the contest. And I am very aware that we don't have the same free time we used to have 10, 15 years ago to play in the contest, so whenever possible, I am trying to keep things fast.
  9. This is exactly what I hoped for. People min maxing everything in those 4 stages! Fun times!
  10. The pictures are showing as black squares for me @Murray
  11. Yes. Bert dominated the Balloon Trip mode, but in the main mode it was really close in the 2019 tournament. This game is a lot of fun.

  14. Glad to have you back! And that you are enjoying the rule set. I have been trying to find new ways for us to play classic games here that are fun and fast to do.
  15. It is all I could come up with that wouldn't revolve around turtle hopping and squishing goombas over and over and over again. You can record the gameplay instead if you prefer!
  16. Right now the only game I get to play is iRacing because I can drive one handed on my sim rig. I hope I can get back to them soon.
  17. You can get normal toad house. But no N spade card for y'all. Only coins acquired inside the 4 stages are valid.
  18. It would be much worse if we were playing for score with all the turtle hopping going on.
  19. I will defer the final decision to @guillavoie but if it is a screencap of a stream of yours, it is good on my book. But Gui has the final word here.
