Zelda BOTW Wii U variants for NA

It looks like there are 3 versions of the regular release for NA:

- 7 controller "error" (barcode 00000) - Made in Japan

- 2 controller corrected (barcode 00001) - Made in Japan

- 2 controller (barcode 00100) - Made in USA

I have not actually seen the 3rd option I listed with Made in USA, but that seems to be a pattern on other Wii U NA releases, but have anyone seen that release?

The 7 controller misprint/error seems to be going for pretty crazy prices in sealed and graded at least, are there any information behind why that print was done initially? Was it at some point intended to be released with Wii controller scheme support?

I'm not sure the third option exists. At least I haven't seen it before. Although I haven't been looking at Wii U in awhile. Just because other games have made in USA versions doesn't mean all games have them.

Thanks, yes it was absolutely an assumption on my end but I have also not seen a 00001 barcode for any other games, which I guess is a correction for the print just prior so it might be that it also serves as what would otherwise have been the 00100 print.

I guess I have the error print, which isn't surprising since I bought it at launch (one of the only games I've ever pre-ordered actually).

Here's the way the barcodes work. They are in the format 00A0B where A is the location of manufacture (0 = Japan, 1 = USA), and B is the revision number (starting with 0). Only the popular games tend to get box revisions hence why you probably haven't seen it before. Here's some examples.

Naw, but luckily I got more than a grand worth of game time out of it.
