Considering trading imports when going to Japan

I have bought Japanese imports games because either they were exclusive or had a better collector's edition, I was thinking about trading them to a Japanese game store, however I heard that you need a Japanese ID to trade with them. Is there any Japanese game store that I could trade in my imports that doesn't require an ID? If there are stores like that, what stores do you recommend? Thank you for reading this post.

Why would you consider trading them in to a Japanese game store, rather than simply selling them on eBay?

You're bound to get way more return selling them, rather than trading them in, especially seeing as they're bound to be far more common in Japan than elsewhere.

Seems like a suboptimal solution imo.
