When you get 200 or more lines, the blocks turn gold and silver. Just thought this was interesting.

I noticed it stopped doing that when you got 130 lines. So it was a shock to see it happen when I reached 200.

What Tetris is this? The lines never change colors in Tetris axis. I've cleared over 1500 lines before. No color change

All modern Tetris games (that is, for almost 20 years now) follow the guidelines which among a whole ton of other stuff dictate what colors the pieces should be by default, as a part of the brand identity.

Tetris Effect is one of the few games that managed to no adhere to that (though there's a setting for the official colors), probably because the heavily themed stages are essential to the game's concept.
