DefaultGen 4,524 Member ·
This sale is pretty crazy even by Doom standards. A mail order Doom is worth something like $400 now, and the box, manual, and addendum are partially interchangeable between releases (there are a couple variants). So these 1.2 Doom floppies essentially sold for $2700. Doom 5.25" floppies are super rare compared to diskettes, but 1.2 isn't even the original release of the registered game, 1.1 is! And a 1.1 5.25" 'master disk' set sold for something like $1000 a year or two back. https://www.ebay.com/itm/264639866996?_trksid=p2471758.m4704 Edited February 26, 2020 by DefaultGen 1
