They did… it’s honestly not a great quality release. The gameplay is decent for those who are a fan of the original.

I admit I'm not super familiar with SNES flashcarts. How does SD2SNES fare vs. other carts? Do you know what version of SD2SNES it is? (The internet tells me there is more than one, but maybe that's wrong).

It’s one of the very first versions of the SD2SNES. It has roughly 95% library compatibility. You can read the specifics on Stone Age gamer’s site. It’s a great little device and has held up despite its age.
