T-Pac | 7,560 Graphics Team · Posted December 27, 2022 Author Share Posted December 27, 2022 Here are all of the new additions to my game collection in 2022: Blazeon [SFC]Elemental Master [MD]Gaiares [GEN]Gleylancer [MD]Guardian [2600]GunNac [FC]Heavy Unit [MD]Kidou Soukou Dion (Imperium) [SFC]Mouse Trap [2600]Over Horizon [FC]Steel Empire [GEN]Tatsujin (Truxton) [MD]Verytex [MD]Whip Rush [GEN] Lots of space-shooters this year. Gleylancer is currently the most expensive individual game I've bought for myself at just north of $200 - and only a few weeks after I got it, Retro-Bit announced a licensed re-release of Gleylancer translated into English for just $60 haha. That stung a bit, but translations don't really matter for space-shooters, and I'm happier with an original copy than I would be with a re-release. I was scared that my copy of Tatsujin was a bootleg because the title screen booted-up as "Truxton" (the North American release). But after a bit of research, I learned that the game auto-detects the region of the system you're playing it on, and displays the appropriate title screen.
