Need help confirming release of Unravel Two for the Switch US version

So  Unravel Two has just been released sometime in the past week physically for the Switch in the US. This was brought up in a reddit thread where someone was showing off their purchase.

There seems to be some controversy that this game was released some years ago physically in the US already. While others claim it wasn't until recently, like last week recently. The thing is I follow physical US releases pretty closely as I maintain (as best I can) a list of all the physical releases and I pretty distinctly remember this game and thought it had come out already. I went to check my list and it was not there, so maybe it wasn't and I only saw a lot of media about it at the time.

So since I tend to trust the word of those on here more than rando's on reddit, can anyone confirm or deny this game having been released years before?

I bought a physical copy of this last year or the year before but I had to get it from Play Asia and then a week after I ordered it, before it even arrived, the PAL version went up on Amazon as well.

So yes, it did get released a while ago but no, it wasn't NTSC. This is the first physical NTSC release.

I have the PAL release, imported it from the UK. I'm positive that it never had an ESRB release. This wouldn't be the first time people have this kind of Mandela effect. Same thing happened with Inertial Drift, there are still people who think there's a mythical ESRB version out there.

Unravel Two was released 4/13/2022 by https://videogamesplus.ca/products/unravel-2-switch?_pos=1&_sid=a5d7bb48d&_ss=r this was the first ESRB version to my knowledge. 

Still can purchase from them. I purchased when they announced they had the ESRB version.
