X vs. O

I wanted to make a fly swatting game for the Atari 2600. I wanted to make a game about letters for the Atari 2600. I wanted to make a new Atari 2600 game. So I decided to combine all three into a new game I'm working on called "X Vs. O." You are the letter X, and your job is go up to letter Os and press fire. But there are some bees. If you touch a bee, you'll die. I'm deciding to make this a one-life game like the Odyssey 2 games used to be.

The game is in a very early stage. I just began working on this a couple of days ago. As for size, I would really love it if I can cram it all in 2k, but I doubt I'll be able to, so it will probably be a 4k game. Right now it's already 1k and I haven't even began with the logic for the game. Some lovely screenshots though.

The title screen. With lovely color changing letters that continually change, along with a background that changes color every 4 (or so) seconds.

The "arena": Where the action takes place. The score reads "4" because I was testing it. You are the red X. Blue Os keep coming in. Kind of looks bland. Perhaps I'll spice it up.
