Hi everyone! I wanted to share a link to a Game Boy Color homebrew that me and a few others have been working on for the GBCompo2021 game jam named "Marla and the Elemental Rings". The game was built using C and GBDK. Inspired by Earthbound and a few other RPGs, you play as a witch named Marla and traverse a small island looking for three elemental rings that will enable you to confront an evil force. The jam is now over and we are going to continue working on the game so feel free to follow this post for more updates!

We didn't get a chance to put in all the features we'd like due to time constraints. Please share any feedback you have! You can grab a copy of the demo .gbc file here: https://geek-joystick.itch.io/marla-and-the-elemental-rings (web-playable version coming soon).

Whoops, forgot to post. I got a set of red and blue joy cons the list said they were broken but haven’t had a chance to look at them.

The box arrived in KY this morning and is now enroute to PA.

I would include a pic of what I took but it was only one thing: moonlighter for switch.

The box weighed 11lbs when I picked it up.

You should live stream yourself eating all of the slim jims.

The only console game my wife (pictured in my avatar) will play with me is Yoshi.

Do you know much about that and how hard/easy all that is to setup in a regular Windows environment?

Sorry for the late response! The item is sold but the software is easy to use on a Windows machine. You just need to download Python 3.4 and a zip archive from his site and run an executable file.
