Okay, I think this catches me up:

    #64: August Burns Red - Meddler (2009)

(only seeing a remix upload on YT)

This song makes me want to headbang my head through the fucking wall.  Or maybe just smash some shit.  In the best possible way.  Plus you know it's a good song when your buddy blows his ACL in the pit to it.

Honorable mentions: Marianas Trench, Empire, Composure

    #63: Machine Head - Locust (2011)

For many years Machine Head was one of those bands I "knew of" but had never bothered to actually listen to.  I'm sure we all have those.  Metal's a big scary world, and none of us have the unlimited time needed to absorb all of it.

So, when I went to a metal festival, where Machine Head was on the bill, I had zero expectations.  Or any idea of what to expect, really.

    They killed it.

Not only are they a phenomenal live band, but I later learned that they were supporting what turned out to be their best album.  And they played their best song.  I was so impressed I bought the CD from their merch booth, something I never do, so that I could jam it on the 8 hour drive home.

Honorable mentions: Davidian, I Am Hell, Is There Anybody out There

August Burns Red drummer (Matt Greiner) is an absolute machine and they may have the best breakdowns of any band. Saw them live locally in a very small college bar (Park St. Patio - only about 100 people or so in attendance) in the early 2010s and they were fantastic.

For Machine Head, my favorite song of theirs has always been Now I Lay Thee Down.

    #70: Deftones - Diamond Eyes (2008)

One of the few nu metal(ish) songs that will show up on this list.  I'd argue it's more of a post hardcore sound, but we don't need to make this about genre arguments.  Chino and company had always risen above the rest of their scene with a fun, almost experimental take on the genre, and I think it culminated in Diamond Eyes, their best album.

I don't think their work since been has quite as interesting, but it's still very relevant, which is pretty amazing considering they've been going for over 30 years at this point.

Honorable mentions: Change, Beauty School, Leathers

Deftones are a top 5 all-time band for me

  3. - I once won a local Guitar Hero tournament, though admittedly, my competition wasn't that great

    - Was in the top 3 on Guitar Hero III's online leaderboard for the first month or so of its release (PS3)

    - Was ranked #1 in XIII on Xbox Live during it's first few weeks of release, until others figured out how to auto-level your reticle, which guaranteed headshot placement lol

    - I've beaten Die Hard on NES without dying

Thank you Silent Hill. Did you open this one up? I don't see it in Wiz's list. How did you confirm the contents?

I didn’t personally but was told when I bought it about 5 years ago that I was the second owner. So I guess I’m confident though not 100% since I didn’t personally break the seal.

I've got Ace Attorney 2 and Fata Morgana going right now, so I have to wait on Danganronpa 1, but I am eager to do it.

I've heard good things about Fata Morgana - if its really that good I may have to put it on my Vita.

That Shining Wisdom art is awesome.  Good luck to ever finding one!

I should have clarified that all three of those items are mine, just never see them come up for sale, especially the Boogerball.

I got the Shining Wisdom poster from eBay close to 10 years ago from someone who said it was hanging up in WD office and he worked there (not Vic Ireland)

I tried this app. I like the interface but I didn’t see a way to share or export lists? Also, in my experience, their “cartridge scan” identification was wildly (and hilariously) inaccurate.

From the main landing page when you open the app, there are export options under the hamburger menu (list and spreadsheet).

I've never tried the cartridge scan myself - only the barcode.

  8. Got it for my 9th birthday along with Earthworm Jim. The style/presentation at the time was amazing but it's hard AF and I had enough trouble with EJ at the time to even bother getting better at CZ. In short, it's something I may play from time to time for nostalgic reasons but wouldn't consider it one of the best Genesis games. 6/10
