Found a 5 screw Metal Gear in my collection as I’m going through it to sell everything. Still had the price tag of $6.29 from 2010 on it, any idea of what it would be worth?

Nice find especially when it’s just sitting around in the collection lol. I can’t offer you what it’s worth but if you were feeling generous let me know. Best of luck with the sale.

Here is an eBay auction that recently ended, it contained the poster. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/364292539204

Interesting enough, it also contains a registration form and on that form is a checkbox to purchase a $5 poster. Could it potentially be the same poster? Was it a mail-away option?

Wow that’s pretty awesome to see that. I’m sure that paper is one of a kind, would love to have one of those as wel.

That's a nice poster!  I'm just seeing this for the first time, but man, this shows why we have to keep opening sealed games, even when they're already listed!  I personally opened the sealed Shockwave, and it had no inserts at all, as mentioned previously.  So this either came out of a copy of Chiller and was stuck into Shockwave later, or some print runs didn't bother with a poster.  Either way, that's pretty damn cool to know that exists!

Yeah it’s pretty sweet, still haven’t tracked one down. If anyone has one let me know.

Rad Racer and The Legend of Zelda Classic Series are the two Nintendo published games that I know of that came without a promotional poster.

That makes sense to me because the glasses or a special map would substitute for the promotional poster.

What’s the consensus on earlier prints of rad racer? Are we thinking those as well did not have a Rob poster?

  5. Got this gem today from a local game shop. It was sitting on the shelves collecting dust, literally wiped the dust off the top of the box protector to check it out. Couldn’t believe it was there for that long along with two other Tyson cibs. Worked out for me as it passed under the radar as just another “Tyson box”. 😀

Now the question is who wants to give me a 5 screw cart to put in this bad boy, lmao.

If I'm looking at these right (dd2's box is hard to read)

    Double dragon 2 box 00419 & manual 00125.

Double dragon 3 box 10323 and manual 10325

So based on that dd2 probably isn't the original box and manual being that they're 3 months apart.

That’s not always 100% accurate but good possibility that there is a closer dated manual. I’m not aware of all the dates for dd2 but good to get dates to see if inserts are somewhat correct to know if this is potentially original or not.

On the ducktails 2 it doesn't feel rough to the touch.  I do know the sleeve I got it in was a nintendo sleeve so I replaced that to match wiz's list.  This was one I got through an auction recently.

Yes, I bought mega man 3 and 5 brand new and have held onto those since I got them as a kid.  The only thing that could have been swapped were the dust covers since those were kept out of the boxes w/ the carts.  But being that they weren't nintendo releases they were either flat black or rough sleeves.  I also have the other mega man games just trying to confirm my inserts are 100% correct on them all.  I'll upload pics of at least 6 soon as the poster I have is a -2 and not a -1 which I'm correcting.

Double dragon 2 and 3 appear to be correct.  I didn't include then in the picture but everything was still in the cart bag.  Trying to confirm my Double Dragon 1 is correct as well but I'm not certain on it.

Also I'm curious on the bionic commando.  I didn't think oval seals could come in a circle seal box.

One final thing. On Wiz's list for Disney adventure the manual doesn't have a star on it.  All the manuals have a star at the end from what I can tell as I can't find one without it.

What are the date codes on the box and manuals for double dragon ii and iii?

Thank you for letting me know about that hangtab detail!

No, I didn't opened it from new.

Although I have researched the contents mainly on eBay before posting that photo.

I will delete it when a new Solomon's Key is opened and its contents are published here. Meanwhile, I reckon it would be a good idea to have my copy shown in this thread since nothing regarding that game was talked about 'round these parts.

    Not a problem.

Okay, I’ll let trifecta be the judge but I’m pretty sure he’s only looking for pictures of the games that have been confirmed and opened from new or a new game you may have just opened.
