  1. Hmm. So you can count me among the people who can't pick only one.

When I was a kid, Mega Man 2. I put my tape recorder in front of the TV for that.

Now? I'll just say that I've never bought a game soundtrack but I've considered it for TMNT: Shredder's Revenge.

Wasn't Mario named after the landlord of NoA's warehouse in Seattle?

Yes. And his appearence (mustache, overalls) comes solely from needing to delineate the face and motion of his limbs in a 3 color sprite.

Well, he said he'd take like 30 seconds to a minute to describe the historical situation, and then went on a half hour history of Russia.

He's more coherent than either of our options. Hopefully the winner picks a good cabinet.

Uh, yeah I know, I got that, haha. I was commenting on the fact that not only does Alien hold up well (like you said,) but it also, like I said, was even ahead of its time in a lot of ways. I was agreeing with the punchline, haha.

Oh, see, it sounded like you were disagreeing with me 🤦‍♀️ I'll just stop now lol

“He’s not gonna be like a Hitler dictator,” Klepper said.

    “No,” the woman agreed.

“More like a Mussolini dictator,” Klepper added.

    “Yes, exactly,” she said.

“Put the people in place,” the man accompanying her said.

“A dictator can do that, right?” Klepper said. “It can put people in place. The good people are over here, the bad people are over here in a gulag.”

“At this point, it’s what America needs,” she replied.

    "not The Onion"

  6. Pinball Wizard: It's pretty alright. Nice early rock anthem, but also "there are plenty of better alternatives".
Vote: 4, as in, the sound is ok but I would never play it or buy it, and if I was in a radio market that ever played anything I like, I would change the station; but if not I wouldn't.

"can i recycle?" yeah, duh you can.

Something in the Air: Inoffensive, but boring to the point of grating. Faint praise at best.

I'd in fact say Alien was quite ahead of its time in a lot of ways. Holds up super super well for sure.

😞 That was supposed to be a fakeout that sounds like this movie sucked in my eyes and, punchline!, it doesn't at all and none of those factors I mentioned apply; in fact everything I said is really the opposite, and it's a serious cinematic treasure, 9/10, killer movie, everyone should watch it.

I was trying to be original in saying something, and clever and a little funny by making a twist ending, I fail yet again

  8. Sometimes, older movies just feel dated and a little boring. It's really a shame, but there's something off with the pacing, the dialogue is hokey, or the plot is confusing. Having only seen this movie for the first time a few years ago and having no nostalgia factor for it,

    Not Alien. Voted 9.
