I like the concept, but the overhead parts are Desert Bus painful.  I think the supermarket is broken.  I was getting glitches when moving down.

I like all the Nintendo Mario games.  I like the main franchise stuff, but I also love the weird one-offs like SMB2 and Super Mario Land for the Gameboy.  I think intelligent systems made that one.  I wish they had done more.  They had their own unique style that was just as interesting as what Miyamoto and his crew were doing.

I still haven't beaten Zelda BOTW2.  I've done everything else, though.

Probably Wario's Woods.

I have a Switch and PS4.  I play Nintendo stuff on the Switch and watch youtube and blurays on the PS4.

edit: To be clear those are my only modern consoles.  I generally play games mostly on my older stuff and mister.

Battletoads and Battletoads Double Dragon.

They both have the speeder bike sections and BDD also has the shooter stage.

Do games like Legendary Wings or Lifeforce count?  I'm guessing no because they're still shooters in both modes?

Fire Emblem Engage is fun, just like Fire Emblem 3 Houses. They're both very good games, but not masterpieces like Fire Emblem Echoes or Awakening. Other greats in the series are Path of Radiance and the original GBA game too

I'm just playing the translated famicom games right now.  Thanks for the recommendation though.  Honestly, I stink at strategy games, but I'm having a lot of fun with these.

LOL If that was the main storyline instead, I would definitely be a Silent Hill fan.

I never really liked the Silent Hill games.  I always preferred the sci-fi horror of RE and Parasite Eve.

I don't have any problems with the pro controller's D-pad.  That said, 8bit-do controllers are awesome.  I recommend them.

This is an NES PPU that had really brittle pins.  I broke them off removing it.  Afterwards I put it away and forgot about it till recently when I decided to dig it out and attempt a repair.  I had to grind away some of the casing and solder new pins on it.  Afterwards I smeared some JB Weld over them so they wouldn't break off again.  It was a success.  I now have a working PPU for my test board again.  The JB Weld was messy, but the pics make everything look messier than it is.  My phone camera adds five pounds of dirt to everything it takes a picture of.

At this point, I think Retro Studios is kind of a joke. 

9/10 for both.  Still the best 3D Castlevania to date.

Street Fighter II SNES is the last one I can remember.  I could have also been Final Fantasy III using Sabin's blitz attacks.

I think there are a few cool titles, but nothing like the original gameboy got.  I know it had a sweet port of Dragon Warrior III.  I wish I hadn't sold mine.

Daikatana on the GBC is probably the best version of the game and isn't even an FPS.  It's a shame it didn't come to the US.

Also Trax a GB game by Hal labs.
