Sadly, it's not a Pinball game.  I've played it and not once did I activate a flipper or plunger.  All I got were some unlikable characters endlessly yammering about nonsense which was occasionally interrupted with a sequence of mindless button mashing.

I'm going to guess Cuphead since you mentioned unlikeable characters and button mashing.

    I know I''m wrong lol

I like stickers up to a point...when it's old rental stores putting stickers on their products (that were new at the time), I can appreciate that sticker as yet another connection to that era. But when it comes to modern stores slapping new stickers onto retro stuff with no regard for covering up the item, that's just a sign that they don't know what they're doing and don't give a shit:

This particular sticker adds nothing to that manual. No game store name, location... nothing. Not only that, it's large and just obnoxious. The rental store stickers I like are these... not my pictures. I can give Blockbuster a pass though.

Oh man, I hate rental store/price stickers etc. I care about the history of Super Mario Bros 1. How it was created, who designed the levels, the music, and etc.  I don't care about the history of any one copy of SMB1. It's one of the reasons I absolutely despise provenance. I give negative shits about who held a game before me. Drives me insane, tbh.

It's about it showing a store that used to exist. I have a game that was used in some summer camp in central Florida. It's a glimpse of what used to be.

I like really clean games.  I definitely will remove price tags and stuff but I am getting to the point where that if I find a game with a rental label, I’d rather put it in the FS/FT pile rather than clean it off and put it on my shelf.  I may want sticker free games, but I appreciate the history and would rather pass it off to you guys who like those things.

Where I live, we don't go throwing stickers on a repro to make it look legit. Same with less than mintyness factors. Therefore, if there's a sticker or two and some wear, it's not a repro or a modern fake.

Now in the West it might be a totally different situation, but that's pathetic if it's gotten to the point of people throwing stickers on repros to make them seem legit. Sure it's happened before, but at that point everyone should be looking inward and reflecting.

People do what they do to make money. It's shell, label and board. If there's a sticker on a game, so be it, but it doesn't do anything to help mark it as a legit copy. I don't rely on a sticker to help identify a real game from a fake.

We are talking about collecting as a whole... I have not seen a sticker on a fake game, but to say it helps is misleading.

Another thing that burns my ass is... I notice label "upgrades" (aka putting a new, FAKES-ASS BULLSHIT, sticker, on the NES cart that is a copy of the OG label) it on Reddit alot.... I want to dunk on them so bad, but nobody seems to care anymore. It hurts. It hurts so bad.

What gets me is people removing blockbuster and rental store stickers. To each their own, but there's people that appreciate those too, look around before removing them!

I guess that's my issue on the whole thing: take ten seconds to do an ebay search before asking the value of something, do a Google search and read about how to do a battery replacement, etc. So much of the information is now out there and readily available via a quick search, so at least put in a little effort before asking someone else to do your homework for you. Such effort makes people see that you may be new, but at least you want to learn a bit about whatever.

It can come off as lazy, but over time I've realized sometimes it's not so easy for some to look stuff up. Some people may find Rarity Guide, which was a thing some time ago. If someone is looking to sell and price their games according to that site, they are going to price too low. Also, there's a lot of information out there that is just simply wrong or can be misleading, so it doesn't hurt to ask a community that may know the answer.

Seems like a pretty neat game! I guess it's my turn now (although it admittedly doesn't feel fair since I had to look up all the Intellivision games to find it). I tried to pick a good one. So, here it goes!

Y'all heard or seen the "Violin Scam"?

Basically, if you see someone in a parking lot with a violin, panhandling, it's a scam.  My wife and I have now seen this twice in the past year, and it's not just local to where we are.  Basically, people find a cheap, old violin.  They then not-so-subtly hide a speaker in something like a back pack and then "play" the violin.  Of course, it's just a CD.

I'm just curious if you guys have seen this.  I'm not entire sure they've fooled anyone, but they do get sympathy cash.

You've just started seeing this now? Your scammers are behind a few years in your area 🤣

Seen it outside of supermarkets before. I thought it was an interesting way for someone to make money, but I did not realize it was a scam. Just enjoyed the music and moved on.

One of the bigger scammers on the street that I remember seeing is this guy:

    Just insane...

Yes!  That's the account!  And that's the cart!  It even has the grease stains in the same spots.

Are these yours?  I just wanted to share in case a super collector on here was interested.

I literally pinged the owner of the carts. Did you think it was a fake ping?

It's good they kept the walkers "Romero Style" as long as they did.  But after the show has been around this long with as many spinoffs as it's had I'm not surprised things have gone the way of evolution.  I'm behind on the Daryl Dixon series, only saw the first couple eps, so gotta catch up....

I really liked the change of pace on Daryl's show. Let me know what you think when you're done with it

Which is where I personally think all this is going.  It seems to me they want to get Negan and Maggie together as a couple, it's just going to take a lot longer than Negan thought and probably be only just-so shocking to the audience by the time it happens.

The show hasn't been "shocking" for quite some time. This show runs things too safe. Glenn's death being faked out twice before finally being killed off for example. After Glenn/Abraham it was basically known all the main characters were safe since their deaths were "too much" for a lot to handle.

I've dragged through this much, may as well see it out. We used to go gome Sundays at 9 to watch, then we just started watching it later in the week lol. This would have made an even better series if it wasn't on AMC, but it's been a good show. Glad it got it got its screentime, just wish the writing would have been better and less emotional once Angela Kang took over. I'm not saying emotions are wrong, it was just simply an abrupt change for the style of the show.

    SPOILER ALERT

When we met the cast and crew of The Walking Dead way back during Season 2(?) I asked Greg Nicotero if the zombies would evolve. He said they wanted to keep them lile Romero-type Zombies. It made me laugh during the last season when Negans aw a zombie climb over a barricade or something like that lol It was teased the episode before, but I thought perhaps it was some remaining Whispered still running about. I think it has been a nice touch to have different zombie types in Daryl's show and Tho Ones Who Live. Just wish it had been a little sooner.

They kind of addressed this at the end of the regular series where Negan tearfully apologizes and she tells him he's earned his place but then tempers it with reminding him that some days she may not be able to look at him... I agree, it does get a little tiring, but then it must take a lot after someone brutally murders your better half right before you're about to have a baby.

It's the constant reminders of it that feel so unecessary. It has been well established she hates him for quite some time. "Hey Maggue here's some water." Maggie:  "Rhee would never have allowed me to be thirsty for a second." Made up lines, but it's just as silly as what it felt like on the show lol

They seem to be bound and stuck with each other in a twisted sort of way.  Just curious, what aspect is it that you find so annoying?

    Spoiler alert.

What Negan did was awful, but he did it as his position as a leader in the way he saw fit for the sake of maintaining his role of power and keeping people in line. I recently saw the episode when he kills Abraham and Glenn, sure it's brutal, but he did as he said he would and always maintained his word. Rick has done things as well to others that may not be as brutal, but just as bad and has show he can lie to get things his way. Negan after being released from his cell has proven himself time and time again to do things for the greater good. I can't list all at the moment, but he has what some would say redeemed himself and proven his worth. Maggie continues to have the hatred for Negan throughout Dead City after the countless times Negan has stepped up for the communities. Nothing Negan can do will bring back Glenn nor Abraham, but it gets tiring having her harbor the hatred after so long on someone that has saved coutless amounts of people along the way. Not to mention, they go on a mission to save that brat of a kid that can't stand his own mom, Maggie. Negan left to be on his own, but Maggie had to use Negan to try to save her kid. It's jusy silly after a certain point. Also, I think Glenn's last name of Rhee is mentioned in what feels like every episode after a certain point after his death, like give it a rest lol it's like the writers just gave up.

I haven't finished the comics as I am straight up procrastinating, but I know the show has taken liberties in changing storylines etc. Just saying in case the comics are actually following along with the show at this point, which I doubt.
