I know this topic is quite old now, but I think I found a game demo/trial version you may have missed, which is the trial version of Beach Spikers released in Japan only to my knowledge(?) Attached is a photo I pulled from Mercari Japan just to show it. Thanks for your work putting this list together! I'm not aiming to collect them all but definitely keeping my eye out for some of the kiosk disc for my collection

I feel like there's a trickle here and there as time passes of different demos out there that people are finding and it's so cooool! Thanks for sharing, I will add it for sure to the list 🙂

  2. Og Xbox! I'm 127 away from the full us set right now. Way too many distractions like demo discs, promos, not for resales, platinum hits, kiosk demos, clothing items, guides, hardware, accessories and all the other consoles. Kinda stepped back for a bit from actively seeking things and am just thrifting to see what comes my way, we just got a house and that's taking all my free time in a good way 🙂

  3. Happy November!

Lot of unpacking has happened but still not much progress upstairs, I did manage to find the doors that go over the attic cutouts but not sure if I want to use all of em. Lots of hidden storage to work with, still thinking things through, but I do have a paint idea to work with. We've found a lot of paint on the cheap in colors that are right up my alley 🙂

Also got this yaffa hook that I love the design of.

Here's the game haul from the past month

  4. I think it's definitely collectable! Lot of graffiti artists enjoy seeing the history or what other people are doing out there. I love the time period, there weren't as many people making graffiti videos in the 90s compared to the 00's with the rapid pace of technology. Plus Australia is definitely an interesting location, majority I've seen are in Europe or the states. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't a boot and supposed to have that mixtape distribution feel.

It was a long process haha. I took a photo of the label for every game in my collection, then isolated the logos in Photoshop (sometimes I even had to recreate them if the cart-label was damaged), print them out on sticker-paper, and hand cut the stickers for the VHS cases.

It took an incredibly long time, but I'm stoked on how it turned out. A unique label for each game while still fitting into the minimal look of the whole setup.

This approach also let me sort my entire collection alphabetically rather than grouping the games system-by-system (since the cases are consistent across the board). A lot of collectors might cringe at the idea, but I love it.

Some how I had a feeling you diecut them yourself! The results are worth it!! I kept looking to see if they were white labels that extended the length or printed on a clear label but l couldn't tell for sure. Amazing work, the fact that you sourced the art from the carts is another level on its own haha.
