Should easily break 100M units sold, but I think it will struggle beating the PS4 as it had a 4 year headstart, and I highly doubt it beats the PS2.

Wow I'm glad I logged onto NA early today & exported my collection list. I'm still gonna have to re-input it but at least I have the list. I had no clue this was happening today. If I hadn't randomly went through the main threads on there I would have been pissed. I was just hours away from losing all that data. Sad to see the site go. It was an incredible resource to have. I even made 2 or 3 trades through the site which was easier than I though it would be. Glad to find myself here at VGS
Heyyyy welcome and thanks for joining

In all seriousness though, THIS was why the new site was created. All signs were pointed towards this happening, and there would have been little to no (probably no) notice given. A forum or a community is not important to GoCollect, they're a business. I think the NA staff and community didn't want to be looked at as a commodity, so a new site had to be made. Now we can carry on without needing to worry about the future as we're in good hands. It is a bit sad that NA had to die the way it did, but that's only a banner we all grew under, and a name means nothing without good people on board to make the community fun and worth coming back to day after day.

What a lame design, they don't even have a cool animated mullet wizard like we do.

I used to deliver pizzas in college on breaks to have some spending money. Quick tip to anyone looking for cash: you make absolute BANK doing that if you don’t mind the wear and tear on your car.
Anyway, I was working PM shift and a pretty bad storm was hitting. Tornado sirens going off, the works. We asked our DM if we could close because this was clearly extremely dangerous and he said if it got bad to “huddle in the freezer.” Gotta love corporate chains. Right before the weather hit though, we took a delivery to some dude with a complicated order. When the storm did hit, he called back and lied that we messed something up and he wants another free pizza (customers did this ALL the time and the corporate chain didn’t give a shit). He demanded one be driven to him on the house. I said “Do you see this weather? We don’t feel safe driving in this so we aren’t. If you want the pizza that badly, you come here and get it.”
Well apparently a free pizza he didn’t deserve really was worth it to him despite the extremely dangerous weather, because he did show up.
That story would have been better if the guy got sucked up by the tornado

Links Awakening on Switch, it's a lot better than I thought it would be. I think the graphics look great even for a babby lookin game.

Streaming will be the next format when physical dies off after next gen. Open the app on your phone and you can access your account and saved games wherever you go. Rather than buying games individually, I think we'll have a monthly fee which lets us play whatever we want.

I've played DQ1 and DQ9, and was not impressed with either. Is XI more story based?
What didn't you like? I thought 9 had a good story, 1 was a bit more "figure it out yourself". 11 has a cool story and some awesome characters.

The Dragon Quest VIII remake on the 3DS is easily the best JRPG I've ever played. I enjoyed Dragon Quest IX a ton as well, but I think people were more mixed on that than some others in the series.
I bought a Switch like 2 years ago now hoping that they would port DQXI over. It was my first pre-order game ever, but unfortunately I haven't had time to try it out yet. New curriculum at school and family have taken up a ton of my time. Hoping to really dig into it around the new year.
DQ 11 is amazing, make sure you have the time to play it, or it will just take your time

I really like the classic grind em out style RPGs more, thats why Dragon Quest is my fav RPG franchise. Theres no gimmicks, if a boss kicks your ass, you go grind a few levels and toughen up. Plus the art style, music, monsters, all so awesome.
