  1. geez... i didnt expect people to get this in to this topic lol all i has as a kid was cheerios and that was it. all though i do remember having quakers cinnamon oat meal that was around the time they were having a special for 24 box tops to get a sonic watch. i still have that watch too lol
  2. time to strike a nostalgia nerve. so back in the 80s i know there were alot of fly by knight themed cereals. i personally didnt get to experience these cause at the time my mother was a health nut and by the time i was born themed cereal had kinda died down so i got to eat only stuff with out junk or minimal junk. but im intrested in what your experience was like eating those cool themed cereals of the time like TMNT batman nintendo etc. did you eat them cause of the theme and didnt care how crappy it tasted or did they actually taste good? or maybe a cereal your mother wouldnt let you try lol.
  3. actually depending on the shop some people had these out for public to test their games and controllers as theres a sign the saids "nintendo test station. get your product tested here for free" im sure the majority of shops kept them in the back vs allowing the public to mess with these things though.
  4. ive had a few test stations. i took one of them apart cleaned it and recapped it with japanese caps and sold it of for 5k so you are right on the price. i would say 1k is about right on how many were made. they rarely show up these days. even 15 years ago they were still expensive to get.
  5. the test station can be used as a regular nes actually. its fully compatible with all licensed games.
  6. i do. but im just walking to it. i doubt my wallet will get me there but i'll try to get close lol.
  7. found this listing in case anyone was looking for one. man they sure arnt cheap no more lol. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285227608373?hash=item4268e3e935:g:9u8AAOSweBdkMwN6&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4JmXDtbEIeRzsNmwKneiv4uXhcuYX6kbWd5ZeZCJEiFx92zgXobWDhq3Wo03oStopsf5WfSQ2ep%2Fql75Mo1PU7hSkGPFZLkffF8t9zZ0g7mRKAb%2BAiOygosd%2FbwytP5EICwOleP%2FNq4T7AtdBbM9ywtGvl60ioKzoqyx8uppofeIVyuxttkky689LPfpp5CnYjFBCt1lxvX3O4%2BjXO3ihP7LAp6djCGqW3cYRuWUykTF%2FsyOGK%2Fk6jDl0HSVSihhxuONIT4RXfic2Grso8dVua4DsnnszyhyWzoxFMlwMldC|tkp%3ABk9SR4ao0NryYQ
  8. yeah its up for sale for 620k so i made an appointment to see the place pretending to be interested in buying the place (i didnt want to make the guy think he was wasting his time with me) its a nice house but because its dated it needs alot of renovations to bring in up to date. atlease 250k worth (new kitchen, bathrooms, paint job in and out, new AC unit, rip out carpets and replace with wood/tile change windows replace, fireplace replaced, etc. its sad its been neglected but also nice to see it as it was when i was a kid though. i hope who ever gets it updates it lol
  9. heres a shot of the game room now. i used to spend alot of time in playing nes genesis and n64. and heres a video of me playing a new game i got for my birthday in 1999. i ditch my party for it and my older step brother and cousin tried to get me back upstairs but i was like screw it i gots me a new game to play lol. i was only 10 what can i say. anyways if you look closely after 22 years the game room other than the fans and lights remain unchanged. as with most of the house too lol. and any changes that were made were cheap or mismatched. alot of good memories here.
  10. i found a nes cart without a save battery as in there never was one soldered in from the factory. the game is hatris. can any one confirm this is an error? or they just used the battery curcuit and didnt use the save function. this isnt the first time ive come across a error cart. about 13 years ago i got a super mario bros cart that was missing solder on the nes 10 lock out chip again non was on it from the factory and thus only functioned in a toploader.
  11. yeah thats true. they average around 50 but im sure if you play your cards right you can get them cheaper.
  12. Just some more to cross off my list. waynes wor'ld was the most expensive being 700 (better than ebays 881) but i just got it for the game so i will likely sell off the box and instructions. i need only 70 more games to complete my licenced nes collection 9exluding NWC and stadium events)
  13. i found this video on youtube it appears to be new footage from a old build of sm64 beta. the user claim these were tapes of a friend that used to beta test the game or something like that.
  14. im out of town now. but i'll be glad to tell you when i get back on nov 7th
  15. i bought it for the colection value so yeah id be the same way if i played it XD
  16. i wont be able to verify if its ntsc or pal till i get home according to what i found the screen is green for ntsc and blue for pal. the labels are the same on the cart.
  17. i got some uncommon and rare atari 2600 and 5200 games from the game zone in salem MA. i almost acquired a missing part for my n64 kiosk (the tv backplate with the large n64 logo) but he decided not to sell. oh well. anyways one of the games has been on my list awile. x-man not to be confused with marvel or dc x-men. this title is 100% deceiving. its a porn game. yeah... its one that avgn didnt review oddly. tbh im not sure how people were "entertained" by this crap lol. thats what happens when you have all the commons for the atari 2600. it was a decent price for all of them just 240
  18. tbh i wouldnt know what to sell this for the price is as low as 250 and as high as 750 sold on ebay. i got it for 120 cash
