That's great to hear. I was a HUGE COD fan in the 360 days. Played multiplayer religiously from MW2 through Black Ops 2. MW2 is the MVP but BLOPS 2 was so good too. Had no interest in playing Ghosts onward. All the futuristic crap in the later series pushed everyone away. I rolled my eyes at rebooting Modern Warfare, but I'm starting to get more interested in it. I haven't played an online multiplayer game since BLOPS 2. Kinda want to jump back in. Thanks.

Yup you and me have the same taste in shooters, you’ll like it. If you have some games in your backlog, wait till Black Friday to pick this up it’ll probably price drop a good $20. Or if you prime or GCU with Best Buy pick it up

So far all I’ve played is team death match and it has MW2 vibes all day

  2. For what it’s worth Modern Warfare was worth it. It’s a real shout out to the roots of the series at least for multiplayer. There aren’t people jumping all over with special powers like the f’n X-men in outer space with zombies and lasers and shit. Just fun boots on the ground shooting.

  3. Gym three days on one day off - always start by running 3 miles in 24 min and then lifting of some kind. 45-60 minutes total

breakfast - honey nut Cheerios with banana, ice/hot coffee

lunch - belvita, RXbar or kind bar or paleo bar, whichever I don’t have becomes a snack later. Some days I’ll have the same thing that I had for lunch between 2-3 for extra gym energy

Gym after work before dinner 5-6 days a week

dinner - spaghetti/sauce or yogurt/turkey cheese on wrap/apple or my wife makes a few things which are all pretty healthy ie Pizza or grilled chicken over salad

this is 4 days a week and the weekend I usually eat out Saturday whatever try to stay healthier but eh Cheesecake Factory/uncle Julio’s/Italian/BBQ Sunday I’ll probably eat out as well but not as heavy something quick

edit: I got out for lunch sometimes on Friday as well, healthy or unhealthy I’ve earned it by then lol

edit 2: maybe not always lifting after running sometimes I take it back to the basics - I’m always doing sit ups at 45 degrees, pull ups, planks for 1 minute with 15 push ups during a 45 second rest or I can do some off this stuff with lifting it’s important to keep your body guessing

edit 3: the absolute golden rule for me is never eating out twice in one day. I went from 225 to 170-180 in about 8 months of this routine and have maintained the same weight for over two years

I actively seek out ways to dl updates while getting other things done to save time

I should just stop being stupid and buying physical copies of PS4/Xbox one and buy digital so I can pre-load them.

  5. Picked up Modern Warfare on the way home. Came downstairs and set it up to install, because can’t play a game without waiting 1,000 minutes for the install (and I have god damn FIOS gigabit). Took my son upstairs, changed him, put PJs on, fed him, put him to bed, did some cleanup In his room, got a bottle ready for the night shift if needed, and cleaned some more on the lower level of my house. Came back downstairs had to have been at least 30 minutes later and the shit still took another 30 minutes to install.

C’MON MAN NOW I JUST WANT TO GO TO BED.

    ARGH

  6. 1. The Legend of Zelda - defined my childhood

    2. OoT - defined my adolescence

    3. Breath of the Wild - defined my adulthood

I could swap out “defined” for set the standard for a perfect game I guess. Defined is kind of a drastic word, I mean I wasn’t frolicking around in a green tunic, talking to fairies, and well you get it.

  7. Love roller coasters and amusement parks. I always get whatever pass they have that lets me skip the 2 hour line. Totally worth it every time. Except Sea World, I got there early and didn’t have to buy it, made my wife run to all the roller coasters before it got busy.

yes we were in our early 30’s and didn’t have a kid yet lol

With you on Turtles! Although, the more I practice the more I realize the Water level is probably the easiest. Damn that Technodrome!

I made it all the way to Shredder in TMNT tournament fighter on NES on the first try and got my ass handed to me and was like nope not doing that again

I’ve been curious about the status of 8 Bit Xmas 2019. He got some criticism from a few on NA last year that some of the releases were just throw away novelty games that you play for a few minutes and then put on your shelf. Usually he updates the status of the game throughout the year on YouTube and Facebook but I haven’t heard anything about it and we’re nearing the usual release period. Hope we get a 2019 entry this year

I was wondering this as well
