SCORE! Wow I haven't seen a Goldeneye 6-pack in a very long time. Just think you are the first person to lay eyes on this beauty since it came out of the factory. The last time I seen one being opened was at GameStop a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.

No... i purchased the game here at Mexico (players choice) . I used UPS but my package was stuck 5 days in a warehouse at US . I think that's where they probably opened it.

Hmm do you have the option to return to the source? Explain to the seller what wata told you and what you might think happened. If the seller was smart, he/she would insure the package. That way all is not lost.

auction description of those 3 games say clearly:

**I am NOT claiming this game to be new

I am NOT claiming it to be factory sealed**

so yeah cool story, blame the buyers

True but the title was worded as SEALED. Not POSSIBLY RESEALED or READ DESCRIPTION RESEALED.

Not all buyers read the description. They might read the title or look at the photos only. I know it sounds silly, but many buyers are lazy and will not spend the time to scroll down or swipe down to read on.

Just got news for my warpzone order

    Hi Mijael,

Hope you are well. The game on order #: N64 Goldeneye, was submitted as a sealed game but is actually CIB (Complete in Box).

We can either open the game and grade it as CIB with the necessary upcharges for CIB grading or return the game to you as-is. Please let us know which you would like to do.

Grade CIB - If you'd like the game graded CIB, please send payment to our PayPal account at submissions@watagames.com. Please add a note with the order number and CIB upcharge. The upcharge for CIB grading is $85 per game. If you choose to upgrade to CIB please reply to this message with a copy of the receipt of payment to PayPal.

Return As-Is -  If you would like the game(s) back, you will be refunded the total you paid per each, less a $15/each evaluation fee and return shipping.

Please let us know how you would like to proceed.

    Thank you,

    The Wata Team

I guess my game was opened in customs .... 😡

OUch!!!! Anything is possible. Maybe someone in custom border familiar with video games swapped it out with an open one? Did you buy the game from ebay and used wata as the delivery address?

Here is the link from my local news station. It gives a clearer picture of what went down but still doesn't say who the owners are (smart to remain anonymous) and which store that closed in the 90's (I'm guessing it was a Game Doctors).

If I was the owners of the games I'd shut this publicity down so fast and get to work. But also, this makes me want to buy storage lockers around here, haha.

Anyone who is tech savvy will figure out his source. When there is a lot of money to be made. Deceptive tactics will be implemented by shady actors. I don't understand why some pple feel the need to share this with the world? If I had acquired a collection of this magnitude, nobody would hear about it. It would be like area 51 secrecy.

Ah Storage Wars...Great show! Brandi, Mary and Rene's wife are all smoking hot. Nuff said.

What happens if I send in a game that gets a grade high enough to make the service a price I can’t afford?

If the game in question is a holy grail unicorn. You're in luck. Otherwise, don't quit your day job lol.

    A steal of a price in 5 years 😁

As long as the video game market doesn't have a bubble burst or black Monday.

So.this was recently found locally (a friend of mind is helping with the sale) Nothing is for sale yet but im blown away by what's all there. Lol and maybe salty I'll never own any of these :P. Big find for retro!!!

At 0:13 - Can you check with your friend on T2 SNES, if this is made in Japan or Mexico?

They will likely go to wata, Chris doesn't own them himself but it's a local find and he's one of the major stores in Nebraska. It could be a while before they hit the market. Probably will go to herotage

Judging by the amount of games in the video. The owner is looking at a costly grading investment. If I was the owner, I would sell some games on ebay, generate income and use it towards sending other games to wata.

Again, if I was the owner. I wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket. Diversify them into multiple channels. Golden Auctions, ebay, CC, CL and others.

  8. I forgot the date the auction was ending and missed the beginning. After that, as Gulag Joe mentioned above, the rest didn't appeal to me but I was curious to see what they end for. Skimming through the list, I spotted (2) Mario Tennis Aces and took this prt sc. What a $ difference between the vga 95+ and 100.

Absolutely avoid. There is a huge write up that myself and several other sealed collectors put together.

    Cliff notes:

The company was originally based in Brazil and flopped. Bad

They rebranded and changed to a US address

They grade and sell their own games on eBay. This is not speculation, it’s been confirmed

Do you know if Stanga is one of them? He is from Brazil and has a good selection of games. Mix variety of companies. There is another from the US, seller gradedgamesandvhs. Who sold over 90 P1 graded games. Could be speculation, idk. Other sellers who I recognize from eBay who uses P1 is drobgaming and gamekingdom69 (former utcgames, premogames).

Also, I see IGS. Though their niche seems to be centered around VHS than games. People spending hundreds to thousands on VHS tapes is a black hole that I do not want to get into. What's next, laserdisc?
