  1. Oh Ive already gathered that you know a little more then a little about the variants haha...when you're not busy I'd love a picture of it so I can confirm it "for myself" ...I'm sure you can confirm HUNDREDS I need but I'll settle for just the snakes revenge whenever you get a chance haha
  2. Ahhh..so you are a variant dork as well haha...in any case it'll be here in a few days and I'll figure it out for sure then...and is that an nes snakes revenge without a TM or R you meant to say...cuz I dont have one of those lol
  3. Yep...that's right haha...my thought is that yours along with all the others are the exact same... it fits...what I'm thinking tho is that this gyromite predates that by a few months...not for the New York release in october of 85 or even the test market like you mentioned...but for the consumer electronics show in June of 85...which would pre date all of the known 8539 chips...seeings how the CES was before the 8539 chips were installed and before they had to put on the TM ...see what I'm saying...I really need @ThePhleo to weight in here haha
  4. Yeah I get it's probably got the famicom adapter....which would make sense on my variant timeline for gyromite...but if it doesn't have the adapter then my timeline doesn't make sense...i dont have the non TM gyromite and the guy selling it is a total Jackoff and if he even smells the possibility of something being rare then he will raise the price on me 10X ...so I really need a variant expert to tell me if this does indeed have a famicon adapter and if the chip inside is pre 8539!!!
  5. I know some of you guys are masters of the nes variants...this Gyromite without the TM ...what do you know about it...I have my own theory but I need your expertise please...

  17. Thanks alot man...everybody in here has been really great...I hope you're right and I come across it one of these days...I have come across the brazil version a couple times in the past couple days on some Spanish website places but those sites look pretty shady and they want like $500 bucks....so that's not happening EVER haha...welp thanks again for everything so far...I will keep hacking away at this and I'm sorry for being the annoying new guy
  18. I started collecting as a kid so I would go to garage sales and flee markets with my parents in the early 90's...nothing spectacular just kid things you know a random manual or box here and there...well I grew up playing all the mega mans...always saved up and bought them new... and then sometime in the mid 90's I remember going to the flee market and a guy had a weird purple boardered mm6 in his glass case...still pretty much being a kid I didn't really know what i was looking at or how rare it was.....back then nobody cared haha...nes had all but been phased out and was quickly becoming a dinosaur....and since I already had a mm6..."the gay" purple boardered one didnt interest me that much...and it was just the game and was as much as a new game....but a few years later I learned what it was and have been looking ever since....until very recently I've always collected the "old school" way ....but now that everyone talked me into using the internet I'm finding collecting is fun again...and until recently I never realized just how hard to find that mm6 really was...so now I'm on a mission
