I got one for my kids when they were pretty little, it's a great first system.
Wii Sports and Lego Star Wars got the most plays.

But what I don't get is the large number of people who typically wank off to purchasing HK/Asian/Korean/Indian NES/GB games. I'd reckon most of these people don't have ties to these regions. Then what makes it even more curious to me is that the same crowd generally tries to get a full set of the games. It just blows my mind.
I can relate a little bit.
I have essentially no connection to Korea, beyond being on Korean Air flights that pass though Seoul.
However, I really like Korean NES games, and get them whenever I can for a non-crazy price.
I just think it's neat seeing US box art in a different language. That's the same reason I collect Brazilian Playtronic.
I'm not going for a full set or anything, but if it happens just due to paying attention then, that's ok with me.
I don't have an Instagram or show the public the weird things I have, so I'm probably not the person you are complaining about, but I can understand being interested in another region's games with only a minor or maybe even no connection to the area.

I collect Hong Kong NES because when I was living in Asia I visited Hong Kong 3 times. It's really great city and I have good memories of it.
So, when I see the word Hong Kong on a NES classic that I love, it makes it just a little more interesting to me than a regular US copy.
Plus, purple NES boxes look pretty sweet.

Since I don't actually get to play too many NES games that much nowadays, I'll go with the one with the most memories from childhood: RBI Baseball.
I played it a ton with my best friend, we even had rules like you couldn't be the AL team because Brett Saberhagen's slider was basically unhittable for the first 3 innings.
I brought it to college and had a Japanese roommate who absolutely humbled me with his skills. I still remember bringing out the cart and getting destroyed with the 10 run rule.

Grand Theft Auto III for PS2 is super cheap and has great replay value.

Hitting a wall in my main collecting objectives turned me on to variant collecting.
It's never-ending and new stuff keeps getting discovered.

Ah yeah, I've seen that one before. What weirds me out is that there's a blue capcom border DT2 floating around and seems legit.
Blue border? Got a pic?

Amazing collection!
Is there any piece you happen to be looking for?
Do you/your group have doubles/extras of anything for sale?

That may even be a worse name than former NASCAR driver Dick Trickle.
I would way prefer being named General Booty over Dick Trickle.
General Booty sounds like a nickname for a stud.
Dick Trickle sounds like a serious medical problem. -

As someone who collects Asian games, for sure. Covid really messed up international shipping. Some countries STILL aren't shipping to the US 2.5 years later...

here you have the 3 most common FCO Square Connors. i have them listed in the collection as variants due to the Square corners. from what i can find and that if very limited the square corners are from early mainland china releases. Where as the rounder corners was from a Taiwan company.
Have you ever seen a round cornered Mario Land FCO?

Looks like a knockoff to me. Is it normal for some of the Chinese games to have the square corner stickers?
I thought that too. I think Super Mario Land - For China Only might be the only one with square corners.
My copy is square, and here is another that's square:

Here is a Super Mario Land - For China Only for only $20:

I think it's been a while since my last one of these.
What the hell, I'm in.

Are you specifically thinking of Super Nintendo/Genesis only?
I bet if we looked thoroughly at NES/Master System and Game Boy/Game Gear there will be a few examples.
Mega Man for GB/GG being an easy example.

What does the board look like?

That last pic with the little blob on the inside ring is a telltale sign of a copy. All the pirated DVDs I saw in Thailand had that on them.

Pretty sure the Alamo is the only place in Texas with a basement.
