  1. Maybe someone here would like to see this Nintendo-Age release I got tonight from an eBay order, a NES game called Twin Bee. I just want to play and never wanted a basic repro so went for this out of any, I feel it may be special for some reason when I had the chance to buy. I used to have a homemade repro I gave away and missed game ever since, own again!

I only have a main room I live in so was allowed to claim a small space in the storage room, to have a little more to be happy about. Now completed all efforts were my idea want to show the end result!

  3. I take video game pictures at times and now have this one for all to see. I try presenting images that are best for a product I have no end goal just for passing time I like to. Yesterday my mail arrived I ordered a Trials of Mana reproduction by FishyFace Games that had the year on box 2019. I figure its aligned to the English official release on Collection of Mana also 2019. I've unpacked game since this picture its excellent quality and I really like reading the instruction booklet. I finished rom multiple times plus own Collection of Mana purchase of decided!

Good it's not a hack job, potential to last longer possibly.  It's a lesson, but in the end given the hours involved in finishing a game like that, you'll get your value out of it, even if it has little resale value as that's not even the point.

I finished game on the GBA a few times except on this no Suzu quite sure, unless some copies added her into the playable cast of characters like on the PSX. Such a great game just bought to play off my computer basically!

  5. Everyone is right I will visit Video Game Sage to clear my mind on thing's by getting input. This was a fake game and I didn't even know it wouldn't fit into my North American video game systems, was Japanese. I now even know Pal video games are at a lower frame rate because of the televisions they use in Europe, quite sure at least on that. Because the game wouldn't fit I did a cart swap to a label-less snap together cart I had, the only got it from a friend before and kept around. Now I played the game glad to say it works plus inside had no wires on its circuit board looks like a okay job. Its in English, having no label doesn't bother me. I will be using as my system game in my storage area I've set thing's up there!

I could see owning that game, just not that steep of a price is all.

I am looking for products with new parts a must, a released product of some kind by a company so no good this time. Its an everyday find sadly and I got stuck in the belief it really existed, plus the game I truly enjoy Tales of Phantasia. I now still want to find the RetroZone 'RetroUSB' copy that once released, I like that company among one other now. Has no standing value in the end in my opinion for this buy of Tales of Phantasia!

“Modern cheap” items of a rare nature = assume fake/bootleg

or another way of looking at it,

almost impossible to find vintage rare items for cheap in 2021!

I have finished Tales of Phantasia for the GBA and its excellent so got my hopes up. Not what I intended and its happened before. I am usually okay at game buying unlike me!!

well it's your money, but still, it hurts a bit to think about the good game(s) i could have bought with 80$

You are right its just a fake and its not even here yet. I just invested in a Fishy Face sealed game of Trials of Mana that's more like it. I will be opening to play its my favorite game Seiken Densetsu 3 I see Fishy Face Games products are pricy!

    That's a fan translation dude, a bootleg.

I have the French Canadian language Zelda so thought it may be a Japan release from 1994 in English like we have the separate carts for them. English is big there so I bet I'm right but I'll have to see to confirm. I looked at the label and its looking to be from 1994, I can tell fakes but forgot to save a picture. I paid only $80 as my desire to see for sure grew!

Do you mean someone modded a Japanese  version?

Its the Japanese release 'English Version' from the time 1994, even says Super Famicom on label out of the ordinary. Pretty much like there are French games in Canada, a language version release still NTSC-J but English for play. Picture not good!

  11. I have got lucky I think in the best way ever got my favorite game made and I finished on GBA. Except its the actual release in English language, the game Tales of Phantasia. In total disbelief because the game was never to be released outside Japan so it would have had to be released inside Japan and actually was 'NTSC-J English Version' for Super Famicom!

@K3VBOT had a full set, or close to it. It was in his signature on NA. It is quite a rabbit hole as Brian produced some small runs of games. It seems the demand has came down significantly since 2013/2014 but the games fetch a premium over other venders.

I've heard of this Brian before possibly, my friend has a custom known music track on a NES cartridge, a chiptune!

  13. Wanted to share my photo I put together of Super Mario Bros. 2. A noted text section change SMB2 p.31, I heard something of by others. It was something Nintendo possibly ended up regretting had mentioned in the instruction booklet for Canada. I found what I was 'in-question' in the instruction booklet so took picture to show. I purchased a Canada copy then $80. I also filled the Super Mario Bros. sticker book with theme of game Super Mario Bros. 2 the North American version, it wasn't for the movie. Has special 3D glasses red and blue lens to read names that are scrambled on the individual stickers throughout book, this is late 1980's. Its lost in my house, and also a letter of repair for Zelda II from Nintendo of Japan. This picture is for the pullback of information SMB2 for anyone who does not know about, or was 'text' left I'm not sure. I actually love this game so much wanted to post, cool with its bosses!

  14. I am so happy with my line-up of games in picture collected so far for the PlayStation 3 system I included an attached photo. Still looking for more PS3 searching for certain titles. Wondering if anyone would say PS3 will have more value someday. I found it was not that expensive to collect after the PS4 released and now got all these games, that's about the time I started my collecting of PS3 titles. I one day hope to find a PS2 'VGA' hook-up with audio my T.V. that's older has PC setting and I know it would work. I like my T.V. can still display 480p. PS2 games and PS1 have high prices in most cases compared to PS3 I noticed but I figure the times will change for that system in the future price wise. Maybe someone would disagree?
