Comic connect auction for 9.6 Zelda 2 rev A round went for $15.7k. Last two exact same grade and variant sold on HA for $38.4k in April and $30k in November. Market signal or just unique to comic connection? Really would have thought this would have gone for more.

I regret not buying this from the owner that sold it to smpratte. Had reservations about the label and the superglue all around it. Just couldn’t take the risk but wanted to kick myself once I saw it come back graded and listed on eBay. Oh well...

Called my local LEGO store in Raleigh and they thankfully had some in stock and were happy to do an exchange. Got to look at and pick out the best one from 6 they had and I was surprised to see that they all either had some sort of blemish or outright damage. The one I picked is nice but has some small marks where the paint is lifted/scuffed. Seems pretty hard to find one in mint condition. But definitely happy to have a nice one now and not having to deal with an online return and shipping back and forth with LEGO.
